This is a moment I’ll never forget.

After years of dreaming, planning, and chasing the impossible, I’ve become one of the very few anglers on the planet to catch and document a Goliath Tigerfish in the Congo in Africa, and one of the youngest ever to do it.

For many anglers, catching a fish like this is often compared to summiting Mount Everest. It’s a challenge that pushes you physically, mentally, and emotionally, and to finally hold this incredible fish in my hands was nothing short of surreal.

A huge thank you to everyone who played a role in making this happen. @boundlesspursuit @mbengaoutpost From the people on the ground in Africa to those who have supported me throughout this journey, this achievement would not have been possible without you.

Moments like these remind me why I fell in love with fishing in the first place… the adventure, the pursuit, and the opportunity to experience things that so few people ever will.

The full journey is now live on YouTube. Go watch it and experience the adventure with me. 🎣🌍 by @finaticc

Ahhh man, I genuinely cannot describe this feeling… The Goonch Catfish, one of the most elusive and difficult freshwater fish on earth to target. The limited timeframe we have on these expeditions is what makes it even more surreal. A fish some have pursued for years, we managed to accomplish in a matter of days. Thank you God. I prayed relentlessly for this moment, and the rain upriver on my final day made it all possible.

Over the past few days, I’ve started to realize just how far our reach extends in the river monster world. Especially after big man came out of retirement, seeing my name mentioned so heavily in those comments genuinely blew me away. I’m only 23, and I can’t begin to imagine what the next five years might look like.

What I can say is I’m beyond grateful for every single person. Truthfully, I grind harder than anyone I know, but it’s all for a reason. I genuinely believe I have the greatest audience on this platform. I know every “creator” says that, but I’m gonna choose to believe I’m the only one who’s right lol.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart everyone. ❤️
