⭐️Knowing God loves you vs. Yielding to God’s love

Knowing God loves you is just a knowing, it’s not sustainable enough to transform you. It’s a good start but it’s not enough to make us new.

Yielding to God’s love is surrendering the struggles, the lack of trust and ability to lay your burdens at his feet. Yielding to God’s love is saying I allow you to transform me for the better. Allow me to see me how you see me. Surrendering to his love means to leave the things you left unaddressed at his feet. This was something God healed me from at a recent conference. Things you’ve deemed as not serious enough to address can be things disguised to take unnecessary space in your heart. The desire to give yourself the best quality of life grows at a fast rate. It was so crazy to watch. It transforms you without you knowing. That’s how bad habits fall not by your own ability but the transforming love of God.

So when you yield it takes you to a different depth of his love because God’s love holds no record. He’s waiting with open arms even when you think you’ve gone far . It allows you to show up not performing but openly seeking him.

So it makes you show up better for yourself and people around you. If he can do that for you then it’s easy to have grace and love people the way he does.

Why does this matter? In order for us to truly build as a child of God. Your motive of service has to reflect the character of God. This is what I’m focused on in my personal journey and business. What I’m building and how I show up has to look like him.

1 Corinthians 13:3 says

“If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”

Without the spirit of love behind what you do it holds no weight. So it’s really important we align our motives with God’s plan. by @findaamor

My story❤️ This season is really about unfolding. Sharing my journey does not mean I’m now perfect but I’m trying. Trying to be the best version of myself for those on the other side of my yes. It hasn’t been easy but it’s building me into someone I never thought I could be. Man if you feel like you’re going through a patchy season just know it’s not forever & grief comes to past. You could be grieving your old self but perspective really shapes your reality. The person that you’re being made into is what will be able to carry the blessings God had for you.

Show up as you are and God will meet you broken, bitter, addicted, and/or lonely. He’ll meet you at your lowest.❤️

So happy to say I made it on the other side. I didn’t let the noise keep me stuck & it can never be over for me or you. So excited to share the big things God has done for me.
