Calling all Filipino youth and students in the Northeast! We invite you to be part of the Kabataan Alliance Northeast's Philippine Independence Day Celebration Parade 2026 Contingent!Join Filipino youth and students in celebrating Philippines' 128th Independence Day in New York by marching with us on Madison Ave on Sunday June 7th! This year’s theme is “Let Us Live the Freedom We Celebrate, And Lift The Nation We Love,” calling on all of us to honor our shared history, celebrate our culture, and uplift our community with pride and purpose.The great Filipino revolutionary and founding father of the Katipunan who fought for the freedom of the Filipino people, Gat Andres Bonifacio once said:"Aling pag-ibig paang hihigit kayasa pagkadalisayat pagkadakila gaya ng pag-ibig sa tinubuang lupa?Aling pag-ibig pa?Wala na nga.Wala."(Which love is greater than the pure and great love for one's homeland? Which love is greater? There is none. Nothing)As Filipino youth and students, there is no greater show of love for our motherland but to fight for the future of our motherland, Kabataan, pag-asa ng bayan!Help us plan for this year's contingent and march with us on June 7th! We will need your help in figuring out KA Notheast's theme for this year and figure out logistics for our contingent.
