Consistency looks different for everyone. Do what you can, just don’t give up! Do it at your pace and what works for you!

I still have so much to learn when it comes to dancing, but I’m happy with where I’m at because I never gave up, even though there were many slow seasons.

I think I just found one of the best affordable stays in Mexico City, and it’s through @livekindred ! It’s home swapping, like they do in the movies, but for a members-only community. Do it scared. Do it with doubt. There’s too many places to see, cuisines to try, people to meet and cultures to experience to be waiting around for someone’s schedule to line up perfectly with yours.

I recall myself questioning my flight to Vietnam 3 hours before boarding, wondering if I made a mistake booking a one way flight, thinking I should have just stayed in LA where everything felt familiar.

Now when I think back on my time there, I’m filled with such fond memories of a city that feels like home now, the friendships I made and how much I grew from that trip.

The independence and confidence you gain when you solo-anything is unparalleled. You truly learn that you, too, are capable.

Stop details below! Spontaneous trip to Tijuana and honestly every stop earned its spot!
 📍 Stop 1: Telefonica A gastro park with drinks and food stalls everywhere. Every cocktail we had was delicious, but the pulpo taco from Otto’s Grill was the moment. If you only try one thing, make it that.
 📍 Stop 2: Mercado Hidalgo A traditional open-air market that’s just such a good place to walk around, snack, and pick up little treats and goods along the way.
 📍 Stop 3: Tijuanazo Come for the adobada tacos, so juicy and full of flavor. Do not skip the cebolla on the side, it makes the whole bite.
 📍 Stop 4: 1930 Bar Lounge Cocktails here did not disappoint. The tamarind martini was so good, and if you’re a dirty martini person like me, theirs might be one of the best I’ve had.
 📍 Stop 5: La Justina Skip the esquite if you’re used to fresh sweet corn, this one’s chewier. But the pork belly tacos, fusion and absolutely delicious, those I’d go back for alone.
 Already thinking about running it back! See you soon, Tijuana!
