‼️Final Notice‼️Will be euthanized‼️📍Carson Animal Shelter, Los Angeles County m, CA

Three 9 month old siblings were surrendered to the shelter extremely terrified in this environment. Lady was adopted and her brother Poppas #A5800559 and sister Fatts #A5800561 need help quickly. 🥹

The shelter environment can be terrifying for young dogs who don’t understand what’s happening to them. They’re scared, overwhelmed, and struggling to find their confidence in a place that can be so frightening.

But every day, they’re becoming a little braver. ❤️

And despite their fear, these dogs are incredibly sweet and affectionate. They love being close to people and being petted.

They don’t need to spend their puppyhood growing up in a shelter. They need a safe home, a little patience, and someone who will show them that life can be beautiful.

‼️Fosters or adopters needed to save these 2 sweethearts‼️All dogs at Carson are on borrowed time before they are euthanized for space.

Our beautiful Nico was rescued today by @minniesmutts after waiting over two months!!!❤️please honor your pledges Venmo: minniesmutts ❤️

I am so grateful, from the moment I met Nico he reminded me a lot of a dog we lost a couple months ago. I fought hard to make sure in honor of that dog, Nico made it out and I was so worried he wouldn’t for a while 🥹Everything finally came together today.

Thank you to his amazing foster who reached out to me after seeing my video and immediately wanted to save Nico’s life @victorballad

And thank you to Martha for offering to short term foster nico until he could take him ❤️

Thank you so much to @carsondogsbyluana for busting him out of the shelter today and transporting him!!

And finally again thank you so much to @minniesmutts and @sitter.set.go for saying yes and always answering me so quickly when I bother her about dogs 🙈Nico is adoptable through them!! Follow them to keep up with his journey until he finds his forever home.

URGENT : Macey’s cytology came back from the lab yesterday. She has cancer. The diagnostics point to this being a lower grade tumor meaning it likely hasn’t metastasized yet. While there is no guarantee, we have to remove the tumor asap to get tumor grading done to confirm it’s a low grade and surgery is curative.

We need to raise enough to have the surgery, get a full biopsy and tumor grading, and test nearby lymph nodes to ensure the cancer didn’t spread yet. I’m so grateful this was caught now and not later, Macey still has a chance but we need to help her. We raise funds prior to pulling dogs in our rescue. Macey was returned to us by adopters after almost a year without warning so we have zero budget for help her. But we have to. I’m spending my weekend applying for every medical grant we can find. But grants can take time and we want to have the surgery asap, the vet said early next week is ideal.

Macey hasn’t caught a break. We’re asking that people donate, share, or comment Macey a positive message. We will read Mace every comment prior to surgery to let her know she has supporters all over the world rooting for her 🩷 by @findinghomewithella

TOBY PUPDATE! ❤️🐾🌊☀️

From surviving as a stray in San Bernardino to splashing in the ocean with his foster mama and sister! 🥹🏖️ Today was likely Toby’s first time seeing the ocean, and he’s clearly loving his new life as a California beach boy! 😎🌊

A huge thank you to his foster mama, Ella, for giving Toby these wonderful experiences. This is what fostering is all about—showing rescue dogs how amazing life can be! ❤️

And guess what? Toby is ready for his forever family! 🏡🐾

This adorable 5-month-old is:
🐾 Crate trained
🐾 Great on leash
🐾 Dog and cat friendly
🐾 Playful, affectionate, and adventure-loving

He’s also tiny for a pittie, so we suspect there may be some Jack Russell Terrier in the mix! 😂

Toby is ready for a foster-to-adopt trial, with adoption finalized after he’s neutered.

Ella is covering half the cost of Toby’s DNA test. Would anyone like to sponsor the other half and help us solve the mystery of what this little beach babe is made of? 🧬🐶

Im so desperate for Nico #a5792016 We’ve all posted him as much as we can and for some reason there’s just no leads. He will be euthanized any day now.
He’s such a beautiful dog, and despite being locked up all day as an adolescent, he is handling it the best he can.

He’s very strong on leash and he has a lot of energy and sometimes jumps. I truly believe he will be an amazing dog out of the shelter with proper structure.

Im just starting to think he may never get out.❤️‍🩹his final notice is over a month expired and it could be any day now. Please go visit him, if you feel it in your heart or anything is pulling you towards him, please give him a chance. I want so badly for him to get out of here 💔or if you’re interested in fostering please reach out or fill out the Carson foster app form in my bio.

He’s good with other playful female dogs.

We’re all trying so hard for you Nico im so sorry you’re in this position. I wish your owners knew what they set you up for when they dropped you off.

I’m so worried about Nunu. She needs a rescue and long-term foster prepared to give her medical attention or an adopter who can afford her upfront medical need.

Edit: still at the shelter and running out of time. He was evaluated with other dogs and did amazing! He’s dog friendly <3

Everyone meet sweet Liam #A5798006 located at the Carson animal shelter!! he’s just a baby at 10 months old and his final notice has unfortunately expired. Liam is a total love bug and it shatters my heart he is so so happy not knowing what his fate ultimately will be. He doesn’t get out often and when he does he’s just happy the entire time. Just a bundle of joy 🥹

From the moment I saw him I thought he was the cutest little baby in the world and I was sure he would get adopted. He even had adoption interest that didn’t ultimately work out.

Liam came in with a skin condition that is already looking a lot better, I can’t help but wonder if that’s what deters people, but to me, he is seriously one of the CUTEST dogs ever.

It kills me when these teenage puppies end up on the euth list. He’s literally perfect. He does have a ton of energy, (as a cooped up puppy would) and he would definitely love an active lifestyle! be prepared for puppy craziness!!

He hasn’t been dog tested but he’s non reactive and super happy passing all the kennels. He’s still just a baby so I think he would be a great family dog!!

I could barely get any good clips of him because he wouldn’t stay still, he is a fire cracker for sure!! but he’s also very gentle. He’s not super mouthy or anything like that. He would just need basic puppy manners training!

We open up again tomorrow at 11am PLEASE go visit sweet baby Liam 🥹 he needs an adopter or long term foster and rescue quick before it’s too late.

We have an update on Nunu 🥹

If you’ve been following along and hoping she makes it out, please know she is now healing in a foster home! She is being fostered through the shelter, so she has limited time before she will need to return back to the shelter.

That means we all have a chance to help Nunu find an adopter or rescue + long-term foster now while she rests and recovers from her URI. 🙏🏼🥹

Update: rescued by pups without borders and in fospice care ❤️‍🩹

UPDATE: nunu made it out today with a foster through the shelter thank you so much @scoutspawpack

📍Carson animal care center -NEEDS FOSTER AND RESCUE SHES VERY SICK (also available for public adoption we are open today 11am-5pm)
Edit: yes she is on meds, I just want her to get out of the shelter to heal into more individualized care in case she is declining rapidly

I’m so so worried about Nunu #A5798319. I usually only post final dogs but she broke my heart yesterday. I visited her after @nicoleandthedogss told us she wasn’t doing well, and she really didn’t look good. Her eyes are blood shot, her breathing is labored, we think she may have upgraded to pneumonia. She’s only 4 years old and she’s completely defeated.You can see it in her eyes.

The shelter is chaotic and busy, the vet tech has a lot to worry about and I’m afraid she’s being over looked. The shelter is no environment for her to heal, and she’s getting worse.

Please share, I don’t have much else to say besides I’m just really worried about her and she needs to get out asap.

Can anybody foster and care for her? If we find a foster we can attract rescues. She already has some pledges.

I really hope you make it out Nunu❤️‍🩹

Yesterday was a beautiful day. Canela was saved 🥹

From the moment I met her, I felt so drawn to her and knew I needed to do anything I could to get her out.

I couldn’t have done it without her village🥹

A HUGE thank you to @minniesmutts who immediately said yes to saving sweet canela without hesitation. (Thank you @alex.forthedogs for suggesting to reach out💗)

Thank you so much to Rebecca @tatsandteal although they weren’t the right fit to foster canela, they cared so much for her that they spread the word to everyone they knew. They talked about her and shared her. And one of her neighbors overheard her and said “there’s a dog in need?! We need to help her!!”

That’s why sharing is so important 🥹

And since they are neighbors, @tatsandteal already came over and brought canela a goodie bag 😭😭

I am so so forever grateful for her beautiful foster family who said yes as soon as she overheard she needed help. She already has slept so much in peace and quiet and is decompressing beautifully. They are so happy to have her. (They don’t have Instagram 😭)

Lastly, a very special thank you to her amazing transporter @deannamariecollins

I met Deanna because I was helping her with interactions for some other dogs at Carson. Canela wasn’t the right fit for her, but she saw my video after meeting me and felt drawn to helping her in some way. She reached out to me, and that she did. She drove over 6 hours round trip to get canela to her foster home and donated a generous amount to Minnie’s mutts 🥹

I had a whole video idea for sweet Nico, but it was just so hot at the shelter so I didn’t wanna have him out for too long, and all that matters is getting him seen. He’s such a good boy. He made us smile so much 🥹

Nico is only a year old and he was surrendered because his owners were too busy for him. He was crated for 8-10 hours a day. At the shelter he’d also confined for even longer than that daily. He’s had to grow up always locked up, and yet he still is a really good boy. He’s a total love bug!!

He is a strong boy for sure! He pulls hard and he is barrier reactive when passing the dogs (which is why he has a Known history of aggression label) but he is NOT an aggressive dog. he has no outlet to let his energy out. At this age he should be going on runs and walks and playing at the beach 🥹

His assessment says he would do well with playful female dogs and should be placed in an adult only household. He honestly just needs to learn some manners and didn’t understand when the dogs wanted space from him 🤣

We think once he’s neutered and has some time out of the shelter he will be an even more amazing dog 💗

He reminds me of Bosley, a pittie puppy, only about a year old, that we lost back in July. I would always see him and thought: oh he will get adopted because he is so cute!

So I never took him out. And he never got adopted ❤️‍🩹

Please, we can’t let Nico have the same fate. Trust me, he would be your best friend 😭
