40 years. 08.08.26 I can’t imagine myself spending that much time with anyone else. I love this man and the life we’ve created, the incredibly beautiful family we’ve been given, and all the remarkable memories we’ve made. As I sorted through photos I couldn’t begin to touch upon even a small part of it all so I picked a just a few. Life is wonderful even with all of the many ups and downs and I wouldn’t trade even a minute of ours. Happy birthday to our beautiful Meggie Rae! (One day late - sorry Goosit!😝) This girl came to us 28 years ago, 16 days early, with the biggest and brightest light blue eyes, most perfect little face, and most beautiful smile - she was such a darling baby. Soft and pink she was a joy from day one. 💙 Meg is funny, thoughtful, kind, and happy, and everyone wants to be her best friend. She wants to try everything, do anything, and will travel the world at any given time. Give her a passport and a credit card and she is out of here baby. Megsy loves her nieces and nephews and they adore her. ❤️ She has spent her life being lovingly teased by her older siblings but she couldn’t be anymore loved. Not to mention her pup Finn who will moan all the day long when she is gone. 🙄☺️ To be so loved! We couldn’t love you anymore than we do Meggie Lou. Bryan and I left this morning to drive to Moab. We were both looking forward to seeing Delicate Arch and, after checking into our hotel and lunch, we drove to the trailhead. It took us about 38 minutes to hike to the Arch this evening and it was incredible as the sun had begun its descent in the sky. The vistas were amazing. We had such a great time doing it. We both love the Red Rock (Lake Powell is our favorite) and seeing so much of it here in Moab and the surrounding canyons is absolutely awe inspiring. Love this time of year. I can’t wait to see all the little Trick -or-treaters on our street and go out with our Grands. I love Halloween. This card was created on watercolor paper. Stamped with this witchy timholtz @stampersanonymous stamp set Haunted House and something wicked from Framed Frights. I used distress inks Villainous Potion, Crackling campfire, Mustard seed and Black soot. A couple of weeks ago our committee put together a Halloween party for our church. The theme was The Wizard of Oz party. It was amazing, if I do say so myself! 😂 Our committee was fabulous and everything went just about perfectly. It was decorated to the max and so bright and happy. After we decided to use this theme, which I have been so excited about, I got on @simonsaysstamp and ordered these Wizard of Oz stamps created by @stampingbella. Since then I’ve been dying to use them more. I love the Wizard of Oz and always have - such a wonderful childhood memory. Since the party I have spent the last little while creating thank you cards for our committee members and I am thrilled with them. I was just getting ready to send them out but decided I needed to post them first. They are just the cutest. I LOVE being a stamper and a creator! It’s been a very heavy couple of days as I have thought about and cried for a great man I never met but who was so wise, who loved his country and Jesus Christ so deeply, adored his family and brought about about so much good . My heart aches for his beautiful wife Erika and their two babies, his family, and the people he worked with and loved, and for all of us who loved him. He was brilliant and kind and desired only to do good. My prayers are with his family. I am so grateful to have watched and learned much from this great man. This guy ran the Ogden half again today and did great!
