Come shop with me at Schuck + Chic for @chswineandfood!

I headed downtown to Society St with @spousesproutsme to pick out a fun outfit for the festival.

@schuckandchic, owned by the delightful @catherine_schuck_, was the perfect place to shop for pieces to wear for Charleston Wine + Food. We filled the dressing room with options to try — all styled by Catherine. I *must* know…which was YOUR favorite?

A BIG thank you to Catherine for allowing me to showcase her store! Check out @schuckandchic and let me know when you bring home, too!

🍍Local Tip: Want to score a discount? Shop with Shuck + Chic and tag them on Instagram for 15% off your next purchase.

📆 Did YOU miss the 20th Anniversary of @chswineandfood? SAVE THE DATES! Charleston Wine + Food is BACK March 3-7 2027.

• BIG NEWS • Charleston, SC •
🚨 BIG NEWS 🚨

I QUIT…my corporate job.

Six months into working remotely—with the closest coworker two hours away—I realized just how tough the adjustment would be. I adapted during COVID, sure. But adjusting again after returning to an office full-time? That was another challenge entirely.

After 9.5 years in tech, I’ve decided to step away. This isn’t just a career move—it’s a life move. One that feels equal parts thrilling and terrifying, but 100% right.

I’ll forever be grateful to T, who has supported me through the late nights and early mornings while I poured everything into this passion project.

I will be forever grateful for @sarah.joan9 who planted the seed of @eatdrinkplaycharleston, a way to get myself out of the house at the end of the workday, which came to life January 30th, 2023.

I’ll forever be grateful to every single business that has trusted me to tell their story in these first two years.

For the first time in my life, I’m *truly* betting on myself - and that feels damn good. Scary…but good.

To ALL of the businesses I’ve partnered with so far - thank you.

To ALL of the incredible people I’ve met in Charleston’s Instagram community - thank you.

To ALL of the people who immediately said, “How can I help?” - thank you. THANK YOU.

This is just the beginning. LETS. FLIPPING. GO.

And where do girls wanna have fun? At @monarch_estheticschs duh!

I popped into @monarch_estheticschs for a Platinum HydraFacial with @_estheticsbymaggie_ and left with sculpted, hydrated, glowing skin.

🧖‍♀️ Cleanse and prep skin for dermaplaning (which I desperately needed)
🧖‍♀️ Two step lymphatic drainage combining facial cupping and manual lymphatic drainage to sculpt
🧖‍♀️ @hydrafacial with exfoliation, a strong peel to help with extractions, and a Hydralock booster infuse my skin with hydration
🧖‍♀️ A dreamy combination of a cooled sheet mask, @lightstim LED therapy with scalp massage AND a pair of frozen ice gloves (my heaven!!)

Maybe one day I’ll learn to surf? For now I’ll just watch the waves and the surfers 🌊🏄

Either way — this week I dare you to touch grass, or better yet sand! It’s good for the soul.

• Hank’s Seafood Restaurant • Downtown • Charleston, SC •
Meet me for $5 lunch martinis?

Last October Hank’s brought back lunch and I’m still not over it. Check out my favorite lunch bites along with details about this month’s seasonal $5 martini. See you at Hank’s for lunch Thursday through Sunday from 11:30am–2pm!

— My Favorites —
🍴 Tuna Tartare | jalapeno, shallot, EVOO, tomato, lemon, herbs
🍴 Shrimp Basil Burger | lettuce, tomato, onion, spicy tomato remoulade
🍴 Shrimp & Grits | smoked andouille sausage, tomato jus, Adluh stone ground grits
🍴 Southern Pecan Pie | pecan, bourbon, whipped cream

🍍Local Tip: Did someone say $5 martini? Each month for lunch, the team dreams up a seasonal cocktail available for only $5 during lunch service. September’s Secret Garden brings together vodka, grapefruit liqueur, fresh lime, and rosemary — just a few days left to grab it!

🍴Eats: Green Goddess “Caesar”, Chesapeake On Half Shell, Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, Tuna Tartare, Shrimp & Grits, Shrimp Basil Burger, Southern Pecan Pie, Vanilla “Cheesecake”

🍹Drinks: Espresso Martini, Sauvignon Blanc
