Put a 💯 under this if you will NEVER KILL YOURSELF. I put my hunnit right here 💯
I, #Brother #DMarqueHall prays and addresses the terrible demise of 18-year-old #DanielErving who would have turned 19 on my mother's #birthday Nov. 21st. #NolanWells who would have been 19 today, August 19th. 19 year old Karmello Anthony's new defense team is asking for a new judge/trial today on the 19th. Judge Sid Harle will decide whether veteran Judge John Roach should be recused from Anthony’s post-trial proceedings. Anthony’s new defense team, led by Russell Wilson, is seeking Roach’s removal.
I also make mention of Daryl* Martinez Lowery, who was a 13 year old in fostercare who was stabbed and drowned by 17 year old Landen Moore and another teen. Daryl* Lowery [sorry about the spelling of his name in the video] will not get to see his 14th birthday on November 19th. What authorities have specifically stated is that Moore and the 16-year-old held Daryl underwater, while the knife injury occurred during the preceding fight. Those "blood brothers" jumped him and murdered him by drowning. Justice for Daryl Martinez Lowery. Justice for Daniel Erving. Justice for Nolan Wells and all the rest, including Corey Ruiz who will not make it to see his 39th birthday. Rest in Peace.

I will talk more about my artwork pictured here entited "Black From the Past" soon. This picture was mostly black and white and I mass-printed coloring pages and coloring books using this image which is filled with almost one hundred remarkable figures including victims of hate. taken in Wilmington, Delaware by @fineblackart

In this video I speak on some of my #multidisciplinary #artistic venturism in my very first #atraction piece I call #AliVsSuperman I made this picture when I was trying to compete in Olympic qualifiers #boxing and sell cars and get over a relationship loss that also took a child from me. @iamblackamerica That child would be 13 this February/March had he or she ever been born. So this picture is almost a teenager too. I created it and I trained and prayed (in church and on my own) through alot of pain. The pain fueled my passion. It gave me a purpose I did not know God had for me. @fighthatewithgloves @decarcerateamerica @weareallremarkable @dmarquehall taken in Wilmington, Delaware by @fineblackart

158 Years Later: BF Randolph’s Story Must Be Told.

On Friday, October 16, 1868, South Carolina State Senator Benjamin Franklin Randolph was assassinated in broad daylight. He was funeralized that Sunday.

Exactly 100 years later, October 16, 1968, Tommie Smith and John Carlos raised their fists at the Mexico City Olympics in a historic salute for human rights, while Peter Norman stood in solidarity.

Two moments, 100 years apart. A continuing struggle for dignity, justice, and peace.

Robert Smalls is another South Carolina legend whose story deserves to be told. BF Randolph traveled, served, and led. Now, we must champion his legacy.

Proverbs 16:16 reminds us that getting wisdom and understanding is better than acquiring gold and silver.

If your art has helped you survive street violence, you've already won something priceless. Now use your gifts to inspire peace, develop leaders, and preserve history.

Share BF Randolph’s story. Somebody’s future may be changed by a history they never knew.

In the preceeding video to this #RepurposedArt is what I could have said. I often say I am a #RepurposedPerson. I used to sell drugs and... Ernesto X here [NOI] has a story as well as decades of experience in community work.
On the morning of my visit Charleston S.C. I was able to listen to a powerful recollection of lived experience and racial solidarity. On this day, Black Senator Benjamin Franklin Randolph was murdered in broad daylight on Friday, October 16, 1868.

Just two days ago marked 158 years since his death. Back in 1868 his funeral was on this day, TODAY, Sunday Oct. 18th.
Randolph was an #educator, #minister, and #politicalleader who served the state he had adopted as his home. Armed, unmasked men took his life during Reconstruction, a period when Black political leadership and progress faced violent opposition.

But there is another tragedy worth confronting: What happens when the story of a man who gave his life in service to his people against a violent evil is absent from the education of the most vulnerable Black and Brown people who need his story most?

I believe BF Randolph and the South Carolina he adopted are, in another sense, being lynched by policy choices and an education system that fails to shine a sufficient light on his contributions. The physical violence that killed him was devastating. The continued neglect of his story risks inflicting another kind of harm: historical erasure.

And this matters today.

In 2024, the United States recorded approximately 44,447 firearm deaths. South Carolina recorded approximately 1,064. Behind every statistic are human beings, families, and communities experiencing loss that can change generations.

What if more Black and Brown youth knew about BF Randolph? What if they learned about his leadership, his courage, his commitment to education, and the sacrifices made by those who came before them? Could knowing this history help a young person envision a different future—one in which they are inspired to live, lead, create, serve, and protect the lives of others?

History cant prevent every tragedy, but it can give young people examples of purpose, possibility, and perseverance.@dmarquehall FBA by @fineblackart

#RepurposedArt is what I could have said. I often say I am a #RepurposedPerson. I used to sell drugs and...
On the eve of my visit to Charleston’s @iaamuseum #Museum, I’m preparing an #artwork display and reflecting on the life, legacy, and assassination of Benjamin Franklin Randolph, a South Carolina State Senator murdered in broad daylight on October 16, 1868.

Just two days ago marked 158 years since his death.

Randolph was an #educator, minister, and political leader who served the state he had adopted as his home. Armed, unmasked men took his life during Reconstruction, a period when Black political leadership and progress faced violent opposition.

History cannot prevent every tragedy, but it can give young people examples of purpose, possibility, and perseverance. Our children deserve to know that their history is not only a record of suffering, but also a legacy of leadership and achievement.

Hi everyone — I just launched my fundraiser to support my museum tour and community art mission, inspired by faith, history, and the ongoing struggle for justice. Donations will help cover travel, art supplies, and community events that create spaces for reflection, healing, and conflict resolution through art and history. If you’re able, please share or contribute — your support can help turn years of groundwork into meaningful movement. https://gofund.me/78cacc958
🎨 Ali vs. Superman — More Than a Painting

Behind every piece of art is a story. In this three-minute reflection, I share my original artwork, Ali vs. Superman, and open up about my past, grief, loss, faith, and gratitude for life.

Art gives us a way to confront difficult truths, process pain, and find meaning in our struggles. For me, this piece represents the fight against oppression and the power to overcome adversity.

Through it all, I thank God for the gift of life and the opportunity to keep creating, learning, and growing.

🥊 Keep fighting the good fight.

#HappySunday

[After feeding the crowd miraculously,]
#Jesus made the #disciples
get into the boat and go on ahead
to the other side of the lake,
while He sent the people away.
After sending the people away,
He went up a hill by Himself to pray.
—Matthew 14:22-23

Nobel Prize winner Dr. Alexis Carrel wrote a book called Man, the Unknown. In it, he makes this striking statement: "#Prayer is the most #powerful form of energy we can generate. . . .
The influence of prayer on the human mind and body is as demonstrable as secreting glands. . . . Only in prayer do we achieve that complete and harmonious assembly of body, mind, and spirit which gives the frail human reed its unshakable strength."

What is one effect that regular prayer has had on my life?

MUCH PRAYER, MUCH POWER!
LITTLE PRAYER, LITTLE POWER!
NO PRAYER, NO POWERRRR!

This #NOJUSTICENOPEACE PICTURE IS HARD, HEAVY AND HISTORIC. PLEASE TAG THE #artist 10-4. Message received. 📻
My first football number was 91.
Years later, Psalm 91:14 caught my attention. Then I found out Nolan wore 14 in highschool and he would have probably worn 14 this year since the halfback Chris Hunter who had the number transferred schools. And finally, John 10:4:
“And the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.”
Sometimes God can speak through the things we’ve carried with us since childhood.
The question is not only, “Is God speaking?”
The question is:
Do we know His voice when He does?
#JUSTICEFORNOLANWELLS #Faith #BlackHistoryisAmericanHistory we're living through.

#ALIVsSUPERMAN
Sometimes a picture tells the story that words struggle to carry.
Here, #Superman lies on the mat—not as a symbol of a race, but as a symbol of white supremacy and the systems of oppression that have stood over people for generations.
And #MuhammadAli stands. @muhammadali
He stands over what tried to stand over us.
He stands for every person who was told to know their place, every voice told to be quiet, every dream treated as less valuable because of the color of someone’s skin.
#Ali understood that courage is not the absence of fear.
Courage is standing anyway.
This is not a celebration of hatred.
It is a declaration against it.
Not Black against white.
Not one people against another.
Human dignity against oppression.
Truth against hatred.
#Freedom against domination.
Love against violence.
The man who called himself The Greatest understood something profound:
You don't have to become your oppressor to defeat oppression.
Sometimes you simply have to stand.
And keep standing.
— D. Marque Hall
