Let's talk about ghosts. The word "Lemur" derives from the Latin word "Lemures", which means "ghosts" or "spirits". A group of Lemurs is called a "conspiracy".
Malagasy people believed that lemurs were similar to spirits because of their wide-eyed stare, loud vocalizations and nocturnal activity.
Unfortunately, Lemurs are the most endangered group of mammals. In fact, 98% of lemur species are threatened with extinction.
But thankfully, there are conservation efforts, breeding programs and research programs taking place to try to save lemurs.

"It is in dialogue with pain that many beautiful things acquire their value. Acquaintance with grief turns out to be one of the more unusual prerequisites of architectural appreciation. We might, quite aside from all other requirements, need to be a little sad before buildings can properly touch us." ~
Alain de Botton
