Neutral doesn’t just mean 50 shades of white. If you don’t love loud pigments, you can still create a colour-rich space. Here are some of our favourite eggshell alternatives for muted, flexible wall paint.

Timber veneers, let’s talk about them.

Veneers let you buy the look and feel of premium timbers without the cost, weight, or waste that often comes with solid wood.

There are two options on the market: real timber veneers or man-made alternatives. Choosing between them really comes down to what matters most to you.

If you’re drawn to the natural character & unique grain of real timber, veneer is an authentic choice.

Prefer something more durable, consistent in finish, and customisable — often with better budget flexibility? Then laminate or decorated panels are just as valid in their own way. And thanks to technical advancements, look pretty damn close to the real thing.

Check out some Australian suppliers in our Veneers story highlight.

Originally designed by Harry Seidler (the unofficial father of Australian Modernism), this one-bedroom apartment inside Sydney’s landmark Aquarius building has had a serious spruce up. Mid‑century sophistication, meet contemporary minimalism 🤝

No, it’s not just a phase. Travertine ages like fine wine — after all, it’s been holding up the Colosseum for almost 2,000 years.
