Throughout the month of October, Finnriver is honored to feature Jefferson County Immigrants Rights Advocates (JCIRA) as our round up at the register recipient. JCIRA works to support and empower immigrants and their families across the North Olympic Peninsula by providing access to legal and community resources, education and Know Your Rights information, family support, English language learning, and advocacy for immigrant rights. Together, we are building a community where immigrants and their families can feel informed, connected, supported, and empowered.

Just a few too many irons in the fire to do it justice this month, my friends- sometimes you’ve gotta know your limit before you cross it, in an act of self love. I’ll look forward to picking up where we left off when I’m back at it in November 🙌 @finnriver taken in Finnriver by @finnriver

What a wonderful book launch for Cascadia Works: Tend, Gather, Harvest, Restore @finnriver in Chimacum. Thank you, Tele, for these great pics! It’s been a real honor working with Holly and John @empty.bowl.press and I finally got to meet the amazing Finn Wilcox, who created and edited the earlier Empty Bowl Press anthologies.

Seeing contributors in person and hearing some of them read their work was a true delight. The room was overflowing with hope and care—we can’t wait for the next reading in October.

Order at emptybowl.org 📚❤️!
