The little tunny/false albacore were running thick the other day otw back in from an offshore run. Had to call it quits bc of the waterspout and 2-3 thunderstorms building all around us. Ended up pulling in a lot of albies, one cuda, one mahi, and a hound fish around 3’ by @fins.and.fans

Went to Rhode Island and brought in around 20 gator blues blowing up the top water with a few double and triple ups. We also caught a few triggerfish and Black Sea bass mixed in
Had a seal follow the boat and take one of my blues as well and attempt to take more
Saw two 6’+ wide rays swim under the boat and two 7’ sharks swim under as well
Perfect surf and great white spot by @fins.and.fans

First 14er: Mt Quandary - elevation gain 3k - 3.5 mile summit - 5.5 hour trek including breaks

DOUBLE UP!
Called in 3 lonely bachelors this morning and took them at 10 yards without decoys using a Primos slate and @beauhunter66 Batwing diaphragm

I was able to lead @benk.917 to his first bird, and a back to back tag out for myself.
5.5” and 7 1/4” beards

Flanked these birds walking ~3/4 mile and used 2 strikers to purr and imitate multiple hens with a few cuts on the Power Calls diaphragm. I was able to bring them in within 7 minutes and they were about to walk right on top of us.

11” mature tom came in hot this morning off roost. Hour long hunt, pulled him into ~125yards, hesitated for a few minutes until I gobbled back at him, he started getting hot and was ready to fight for the hen. Pulled him into ~38yards when I squeezed and dropped him in his tracks. I was able to teach two friends how to break roost and they were stoked to see this bird run in on us this morning. #nwtf #easternturkey #gobbler #nchunting by @fins.and.fans

Volume up! Unsuccessful opening day breaking roost. 3 toms walked in 100yards of us, gobbled at the AvianX half strut Jake decoy, noticed it wasn’t moving, and walked off untouched. Great location and hope to get them soon #publicland #turkeyhunter by @fins.and.fans

Beautiful eastern toms were caught on my trail cam strutting and up close showing off its iridescence feathers during pre-season. Hoping they show up on opening day for another tag out by @fins.and.fans
