A Letter to Our Son

Our dearest son,

We love you deeply, and because we love you, we ask you to trust the process.

From the very beginning, God has carried us through seasons we did not fully understand. There were moments that stretched us, moments that tested our faith, and moments that seemed impossible. Yet through it all, God has been faithful. Every single time.

What felt heavy became a testimony. What looked uncertain became victory. And the victory is in Jesus.

As your parents, we will always have your back. God has blessed us with the ability to stand beside you in ways we once only prayed for. Nothing about this journey has been accidental. Every step has been ordered. Every chapter has been written with intention. And God is still writing your story.

So, trust the process, son just like we have.

When distractions come and they will, discern the noise. Doubt may whisper. Friends may question. Family and well-wishers may speak from their own understanding.

But remember: God will not take you this far to leave you. He is not finished. The next chapter is already unfolding, and just like every chapter before, you will walk through it victoriously.

When challenges arise, like grades that are not what you hoped for, do not be discouraged. It is part of the process.

Regroup. Restrategize. Refocus. With Godโ€™s guidance, you have the power to adjust your course. Growth is not always comfortable, but it is always purposeful.

Think about the questions people ask at the end of every chapter:
How did you do it?
How did you manage 17 subjects?
How did you earn 9 cords?
More questions will come. Greater achievements will follow. And every time, remember your answer:
โ€œGod did it again. I could not have done it without Him.โ€

Your journey is not ordinary. You were never meant to blend in. Extraordinary is part of your blessing. Your testimony is being written in real time, and one day your story will inspire many.

Stand firm. Stay humble. Keep God at the center. Be grateful to all who supported you in the process. And always remember, you are loved, you are covered, and you are destined for greatness.

With all our love,
Mom and Dad โค๏ธ by @fintech_kwame

Stepping into the Ghana Fintech Awards 2026 conversations, one thing is clear: security is no longer optional, itโ€™s foundational.

This yearโ€™s theme, โ€œFrom Awareness to Action: Building a Cyber-secure Fintech Landscape in Ghana,โ€ reflects a major shift in our industry. Innovation alone is not enough. We are now measuring responsible innovation, how fintechโ€™s protect customer data, prevent fraud, strengthen compliance, and build systems people can truly trust.

Iโ€™m particularly excited to see categories that spotlight cybersecurity innovation, fraud prevention, secure digital payments, and data protection leadership. These recognitions send a strong message: safeguarding users is just as important as scaling products.

The awards process also mirrors this commitment. Public voting is designed to be secure and transparent, while expert judges ensure that technical excellence and security standards carry real weight. Itโ€™s a balance between community voice and professional evaluation.

Beyond the celebration, these awards are helping to set the tone for the future of fintech in Ghana: where trust, protection, and accountability become industry benchmarks, not afterthoughts.

The real winner in this journey? The consumer. by @fintech_kwame

Happy Fatherโ€™s Day, Daddy Awagah!

Having a family is a tremendous responsibility, one that can shape a person in unimaginable ways. Yet, through every high and low, you have stood strong with wisdom, grace, and unwavering love.

Today, we celebrate not just a father, but a true pillar of strength and devotion. Your children look up to you with pride, and itโ€™s so clear how deeply they care about making you proud. That speaks volumes about the kind of father and man you are.

Thank you for your steady guidance, your quiet sacrifices, and the love that holds us all together. We thank God every day for blessing us with you. Your presence in our lives is a gift we will never take for granted.

We love you deeply, Daddy Awagah.

While Nigeria is leading bold conversations in RegTech, Ghana isnโ€™t far behind and something big is coming.

In Martin Kwame Awagah powerful presentation at RegTech Africa, Martin spotlighted Ghanaโ€™s rising role in shaping the future of digital finance across the continent. His message was clear: Ghana is not just participating in the RegTech revolution, itโ€™s preparing to lead in ways that could significantly boost investor confidence and transform how compliance and innovation intersect.

From regulatory frameworks to digital infrastructure, Ghana is laying the groundwork for a fintech ecosystem that is not only robust and secure but also deeply attractive to global investors.

This isnโ€™t about competition. Itโ€™s about collaboration, growth, and Africa taking charge of its own financial future together.

Tune in to Amansan TV as we discussed Social Engineering Scams: https://www.facebook.com/atvgh/videos/2066910660463810/

1. What are social engineering scams, and how do they work?
Social engineering scams manipulate people into revealing confidential information or taking actions that compromise security. Scammers exploit human emotions like fear, urgency, trust, or curiosity to trick victims into giving up sensitive data, clicking malicious links, or sending money.

2. Can you identify common types of social engineering scams (e.g., phishing, pretexting, baiting)?

A. Phishing: Sending fraudulent emails or messages pretending to be from legitimate sources to steal information like login credentials or financial data.

B. Pretexting: Creating a fabricated story or identity to obtain information (e.g., pretending to be tech support).

C. Baiting: Offering something enticing (like free software or prizes) to trick victims into downloading malware or giving up personal data.

D. Vishing: Voice phishing, where scammers call pretending to be someone trustworthy.

E. Tailgating: Physically following someone into a restricted area without proper credentials.

Recognizing Scams
1. How can you verify the authenticity of a request or message?

A. Contact the organization directly using a verified number or official website.

B. Check the senderโ€™s email address carefully.

C. Look for signs of professionalism (correct spelling, logos, formal language).

D. Avoid clicking links or downloading attachments unless you're sure of their legitimacy. by @fintech_kwame
