🚋❤️ Prague, you absolutely stole our hearts!

Before the heat of the competition hit, we took a little journey through history aboard an old museum tram, discovering the beauty, charm and incredible soul of this magical city. ✨🏛️

Cobblestone streets, stunning architecture, so much history, laughter and those little moments that turn into BIG memories. 🇨🇿❤️ Prague, you’re a perfect mix of elegance, character and pure magic!

A HUGE thank you to my dear Tomas Slavicek @tomas.slavicek and the entire team for creating such a special and memorable afternoon for all of us. These are the moments that make every competition journey about so much more than dancing! 🥰💃🕺

Now… hearts full, cameras full, memories made. 🔥💪

🇧🇼✨ GABORONE, BOTSWANA! What a first visit! ❤️

My first time in Botswana for the TAFISA Board of Directors Meeting, and what a beautiful experience! Warm, friendly, safe, and homely from the moment I arrived. ❤️

A special birthday celebration 🎂, an amazing evening in the game park 🦒🐘, lots of laughs with friends, and so many lovely memories. This is what TAFISA is all about: bringing people together and building friendships beyond the boardroom! 🌍🤝

And apparently, I’ve also been promised a DIAMOND 💎😂 So, I guess I’ll have to come back and collect it! Just saying… promises are promises! 😉

Thank you, Botswana, for the warm welcome. I already can’t wait to return for the TAFISA World Congress next year! 🇧🇼❤️

🇵🇱🔥 THROWBACK TO POLISH DANCE LEAGUE 2026! 💃🏻

Warsaw, you were SO MUCH FUN! ❤️

Back in June (5–8 June, to be exact 😉), I had the pleasure of being part of the Polish Dance League, organized by the amazing Loocas Team Sport Club. And what a few days it was! 🙌

✨ Amazing atmosphere
🔥 Incredible talent
📈 Polish dancers getting better, stronger, and more impressive every single time!

Seriously, it’s so exciting to see how much the Polish dance scene is growing! The talent is there, the passion is real, and the energy? NEXT LEVEL! 🚀

For me, it was another fantastic experience wearing my IDO Vice President hat 🎩 and my judge hat 👩‍⚖️, doing what I love most: being surrounded by dance, amazing people, and a whole lot of positive energy!

And let’s be honest… dance events are never JUST about the dancing. There’s always laughter, great conversations, a little craziness, and memories that stay with you long after the last dancer leaves the floor! 😂❤️

HUGE THANK YOU to our fantastic hosts, Łukasz Loocas Jóźwiak and Tomek Pilewski, for having me and making everyone feel so welcome! 🫶

Poland, keep doing your thing! 🇵🇱🔥 I have a feeling we’re going to see even MORE amazing things coming from you!

Until the next one! ❤️💃🏻

🇲🇰 9 DAYS OF COMPETITION. 11 DAYS IN SKOPJE. ONE BIG DANCE CRAZY. 🔥

What a ride! ❤️‍🔥

9 days of competition.
11 days in Skopje.
Thousands of dancers.
Countless hours in the hall.
And ENERGY that simply refused to run out! ⚡️

The IDO European Championships in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Performing Arts & Improvisation brought together some of the most incredible dancers from around the world. 🌍✨

And for me?
I wore a few different hats during these crazy days… 🎩

IDO Vice President
Team Captain of Team Slovenia
And then… simply Fiona.

Organising. Supporting. Cheering. Running. Solving. Celebrating. Laughing. Probably walking approximately 47,000 steps a day. 😂

Watching dancers step onto the stage, push their limits, support each other and leave EVERYTHING out there was the best part of it all. ❤️

The talent was insane.
The performances were breathtaking.
The energy was NEXT LEVEL.
And the memories? Priceless. ✨

Skopje, you were one wild chapter. 🇲🇰❤️
European Championships, you definitely know how to keep us on our toes! 👟🔥

Until the next one…
same passion, new stage, even more dance. 🌍💃

🌍 IDO AT THE 3RD TAFISA EUROPEAN SPORT FOR ALL GAMES 2026! 🇮🇪💃
From 6–11 August 2026, Limerick, Ireland, welcomed communities and delegations from across Europe for the 3rd TAFISA European Sport for All Games – a celebration of movement, culture, inclusion, diversity and friendship.

The International Dance Organization was proudly represented by Patrik Peroša, Gašper Kožar, Anže Finkšt and Gaynor Johnson Košuta, who brought the spirit of IDO to Limerick through dance workshops and activities, sharing their knowledge and passion for dance with participants of all ages.

IDO was also proudly represented through Senior Vice President Fiona Johnson, who serves as a member of the TAFISA Board of Directors, strengthening IDO’s connection and contribution to the international Sport for All movement.

One of the most memorable moments came on the final evening, when delegations from across Europe joined the IDO group dance. Different nations, cultures and traditions came together through movement – creating connections and, most importantly, new friendships. ❤️
Dance is more than competition.

It is participation, culture, health, creativity, community and a universal language that brings people together.
We are proud that IDO continues to share this message around the world.

Different cultures. Different traditions. Different movements. One shared passion. by @fiona.johnson1

🌍 Greetings from Paphos, Cyprus! 🇨🇾

It’s always a privilege to be part of the IDO Annual General Assembly and to meet with colleagues and friends from around the world who share the same passion for dance.

These meetings are about much more than discussions and decisions. They are an opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen friendships, and work together to ensure that IDO continues to grow and evolve for dancers across the globe.

I’m grateful to represent our international dance community, contribute to the conversations, and be part of shaping the future of our organization.

Together, we keep moving dance forward. 💙🌍
