It's not hard to figure out why the good people at @christopherfarrcloth named this wallpaper design 'The River of Joy'. Indeed, the river in question, created by German artist, Olaf Hajek, meanders through a magical, whimsical world, delighting at each turn with a plethora of fantastically coloured plants and curious creatures. We wanted to go pattern on pattern with the curtains and finding a fabric that could hold its own with this wallpaper presented an unexpected challenge. It turned out that the brilliant Tigger Hall of Nine Muses produces designs of equally painterly appeal and the Mini Leaf does the job perfectly. A wide stripe from Manuel Canovas on the armchair and Charles Orchard's wonderful Etagere and Side Table balance the scheme, with intense pops of colour from our ikat cushions and Porta Romana's Grace lamp. Items as numbered in the second image - 1. Etagere Book Shelf by Charles Orchard 2. Grace Lamp by Porta Romana with 13" Top Hat Shade by Porta Romana 3. The River of Joy Wallpaper by Christopher Farr Cloth 4. Mini Leaf Fabric by Nine Muses available at Simon Playle 5. Etagere Side Table by Charles Orchard 6. Cecile Sheer by Colefax & Fowler 7. Fiona Campbell Armchair in Mezerac Tomate by Manuel Canovas 8. Runner by Tim Page 9. You know that time of year (we're there now) when all the leaves on the trees are sprouting the most beautiful fresh, new green? Well, that's every day in this bathroom for our lovely clients. The clever people @lewisandwood have created a wallpaper that gives that vibe exactly. 💚 #greenleaves #woodlandwallpaper #beech #lewisandwood #interiordesignlondon #fionacampbelldesign by @fionacampbelldesign

A sneak peek at a flavour of our upcoming spring summer window display. We're going to let this amazingly colourful wallpaper from @christopherfarrcloth do most of the talking and we’ve found this darling little painterly, leafy print from @ninemusestextiles for the curtains. The prettiest pairing. taken in Parsons Green, Fulham, London by @fionacampbelldesign

Muted reds and browns with a dash of delicate blue makes for a sophisticated but pretty scheme for our client's bedroom in West Sussex. #bedroomscheme #colourscheme #interiordesignlondon #fionacampbelldesign by @fionacampbelldesign

Couldn't resist posting a little snapshot of this project, fitted last week. Hope to show you something a little more professional at some point but this is soft fold blind perfection in our client's study. Just love. #softfoldblind #interiordesignlondon #fionacampbelldesign by @fionacampbelldesign

The light-filled hallway on a recent project. The mirror console is the perfect space-optimising solution for those narrow London hallways. You can't see the runner we have in the window when it's shot from across the road so we really had to give it a post of its own. It's a Persian antique runner from the brilliant Robert Stephenson and is so truly exquisite it actually makes your heart sing. Talk about making your heart sing, 👉 swipe for a pic we took on a recent visit to their showroom in Chelsea. Robert picked this gorgeous specimen up in Turkey and had it hanging looking so glorious as a curtain we've been thinking about how we could incorporate it into a project ever since... #antiquerunner #persiancarpet #runner #interiordesignlondon #fionacampbelldesign by @fionacampbelldesign

Changing our window over always gives us a bit of a boost here at our studio. An injection of newness always does, doesn't it? Whether it's a small change like a new lamp; a big change like a whole new scheme for a room or even a full house renovation, there's nothing quite like it to reinvigorate the senses. In contrast to the pared-back calm of our last window, we've gone for an unashamedly pretty scheme with a little something in there for the frill-seekers among you. We are also launching our handsome Doria Dining Bench which can be ordered to any length and covered in the fabric of your choice. As an alternative to built-in banquette seating, we like to think this offers a little more versatility and the investment is yours to take with you (unlike its built-in brother), should you one day move house. Please contact us for more details and pricing. #windowdisplay #diningbench #curtains #interiordesignlondon #fionacampbelldesign by @fionacampbelldesign

The London blind. A little bit flouncy, would probably admit to being somewhat of an exhibitionist. She needs dressing into those folds, so she's not ideal for an every-day-use blind but if you're looking to pretty up your window, she's your gal. If you have such a window and it happens to be the right size, this beauty is available to buy on our website ex-display page - click the link in bio. We have lots of fabulous items (blinds, curtains, cushions, furniture, lighting) that have graced our past window displays, all looking for homes at a fraction of the price you'd usually pay for them and they've barely been used at all. Our website is continuously updated with new items as we change over our windows so keep an eye out. #exdisplay #londonblind #blinds #interiordesignlondon #fionacampbelldesign by @fionacampbelldesign

The timeless beauty and versatility of a stripe - is an interior ever really complete without one? Serious question. Bravo to our client here (we only made the blind and can't take credit for the choice but we heartily approve of it) who went for a stripe on stripe in her children's bathroom. 👏 #stripes #decoratingwithstripes #interiordesignlondon #fionacampbelldesign by @fionacampbelldesign

A gentle palette of soft greens and pinks creates a calm and relaxing bedroom for these clients in south west London and echoes the verdant loveliness of the en-suite bathroom next door. A gathered, shaped pelmet provided the blackout solution needed that you just can't achieve with curtains on a pole. 📸 @snookphotograph by @fionacampbelldesign

Super smart curtain and braid combo heading for install at one of our current projects. We were brought in to do the window treatments only on this one. Whilst we offer a much broader take on interior design these days, window treatments is where Fiona began, nearly 60 years ago. Suffice to say, we know the transformational power of a good pair of curtains or blind! #curtains #blinds #windowtreatments #interiordesignlondon #fionacampbelldesign by @fionacampbelldesign
