We are unbelievably excited to launch the Fiona Field Research Unit — our attempt at making better gear by handing it over to people who are willing to tell us exactly what's wrong with it.

We're a small company. We're learning as we go. And while we're pretty damn proud of the things we've made, we know there's always room to make them better.

So we're putting together a small crew of researchers to help us do exactly that.

**CYCLE 001/// — ONSHORE SERIES BOARDSHORTS**

We're selecting four people to put our first boardshorts through real-world conditions. Surfing, fishing, paddling, swimming, running, sitting around doing absolutely nothing. Whatever your version of a day outside looks like.

You'll receive the gear at no cost. In return, we're asking for a few weeks of actual use, some photographs, and honest, detailed feedback.

Tell us what you love. Tell us what drives you crazy. Tell us if the waistband sucks, the pocket is useless, or if we somehow managed to get something right.

We're listening.

No professional credentials required. No follower minimum. No obligation to post about us or say nice things.

Just people who give a damn about the equipment they use.

Our first-ever boardshorts have officially hit the shop.

Now, you might've noticed we also just launched the Fiona Field Research Unit. Yes, that means there's an opportunity to get your hands on these boardshorts at no cost, test it out, and help us make the next generation of Fiona products even better.

But if you don't feel like waiting around to see if you get selected, we've got good news.

The Onshore Series is available to everyone today.

And because this is our first run, we're offering them at a price that's a good bit lower than what you'll find from some of the bigger names out there. Not because we cut corners, but because we're still learning, improving, and would rather get these things in the water than sit around pretending we've perfected everything.

LAUNCHING SOON - Introducing The Onshore Series V1— our first-ever pair of boardshorts.

We’re incredibly proud of these. We also already know there are a few things we want to tweak, which is exactly why we’re treating this first run a little differently.

We’re pricing them a bit lower for a limited time, putting together a few solid bundle options, and asking one thing in return: wear the hell out of them. Surf in them, swim in them, beat them up, and tell us exactly what you love, hate, and want changed.

This is the first version, not the final version. And YOU get to be a part of making something better.

But for a first crack at boardshorts, we’re pretty damn proud of where we landed.

FALL / WINTER 2026 — CAPSULE 001

It’s still 90 degrees outside, so naturally we made hoodies, sweaters, fleece, and a canvas jacket.

The first pieces of our Fall / Winter collection are here: the Oystercatcher Collection, Company Standards, Field Guide pieces, the Good Company Premium Fleece, and our first custom-made Travail Canvas Jacket.

Built for colder mornings, hard use, and the few glorious months when the Southeast finally remembers what a jacket is.

And this is just the start. We have A LOT more coming later this season—new pieces, new graphics, and a few things we’ve been working on for a long time.

For now, consider this your warning that cooler weather is eventually coming.
