I'm guilty of hyper focusing on the end goal, forgetting to look up to realize it's not always ALL about the results , but the journey and growth on how far you've come is just as, if not, MORE important...THANK YOU @tacomarunclub to help bring it back into perspective.  Take that second to look up , lots of simple things to be grateful for and enjoy. The only easy day was YESTERDAY.... Sore is an understatement from yesterday's stair challenge memorial event with @triumfit_challenge . Special shout out to the like minded people from yesterday show up to today for the @tacomarunclub . Y'all are on a different level! Thank you Ty @triumfit_challenge for putting on this awesome event for such a good cause! Honored to be a part of it. 110 flights, ~2,100 stairs and a ton of people came out! So good to see familiar faces, meeting new people, with everyone supporting a great charity.! Five of us took on the Gold challenge and did it with 71lbs+ of gear....blood, sweat and tears were had on those stairs... Shout out to @zackary.herndon for joining the Gold challenge with me!  @triumfit_challenge Remember, remember the stairs of September!!! The joys of social media are only seeing the positives but what about the failures, the grind and just showing up? It's not always pretty. The last few runs have been hard and times were getting worse, but still grinded, still ran as best as I could and simply still showed up. Giving it your all is what you can control, through the good and bad. Today was different, it was finally MY day on my 7th run. The goal has been to hit sub 10 minutes per mile with an overall goal of sub 30min for the weighted 5k ruck with @tacomarunclub . Special shout out to the random pace partner who pushed me to keep pace to the half way mark, and then forced me to try to chase on the back half. Wouldn't have been able to hit the goal without you. @tacomarunclub 6th 5k weighted ruck in the books. The best thing is watching the community grow and support each other. New faces and familiar, the support is the same and people making the active decision to show up weekly. Coming off a long week from a trade show, time zone shifts, travel day and a few hours of sleep, I'll take that time all day! Showing up is half the battle! Not everyday is a PR day and that is ok. Got to have the bad days to be able to appreciate the good. Sometimes, just showing up is enough. It's the small positive things that add up to big wins. Consistency is key, still showed up, still got through it with all the positive people @tacomarunclub .
