This one is my brother, @schauer_time

He just ran his first full marathon.

26.2 miles.
3:27:22.
73rd out of 501.

But the numbers aren’t really the point.

The point is that he decided to do something hard — and he finished it.

That’s what FireBuilt is about.

Ordinary people doing extraordinary things.

People rebuilding.
People pushing themselves.
People refusing to stay down.

Being a coach has become about a lot more than the gym for me.

It’s about showing up. Listening. Teaching. Leading by example. And hopefully giving the next generation some of the lessons life has taught me along the way.

I’m still learning myself — as a dad, a coach, a welder, and just as a man.

I’m proud of the person I’m becoming, but I know I’ve still got work to do.
