This was a great visit to Seattle Station 2. We did late afternoon “day time” photos out front. Took a break and made them feed me dinner… Then took off for “night time” photos under the Pike Place Market signs. Hope they like em’.

It was awesome getting in the pool and doing underwater photos of the Seattle Fire Department’s Rescue Swimmers. These folks are subsurface monsters!

Big thanks to the Pacific Northwest Fire Conference for offering me a spot as a photographer. Sorry I had a sick dog to attend to and could only make the one class of Hands On Training, forceable entry class at Seattle Fire Station 14.

Future medics checking in! ✨
As we head into drills and pharmacology week, their training gets even more intense. Wish them luck! 💪🚑(They’re going to need a lot of coffee)

Today the Seattle Fire Department added two more names to the list of fallen firefighters for a total of 63. While the reason for the memorial is sad, the people who showed up made it a celebration of life, career and history. Here’s some of my favorite photos from today.

Congratulations to my friend and frequent photography subject Capt. Preston Prosser with the Bend Fire Department on his retirement after 27 years of service. Preston has also been a constant fundraiser for the firefighter their climb for almost 20 years.

I had a really great visit with Maui Fire last month at the Wailea station. We played pickle ball and barbecued and had family photos. They were amazing hosts.

It’s my pleasure to introduce you to K9 Hugo with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit.

Hugo is a 2-year-old Belgian Malinois from the Czech Republic. He is a a super happy boy. He is trained and deployed for tracking, building searches, area searches, evidence location at or near crime scenes, and apprehension.

When Hugo isn’t working hard keeping our community safe, he enjoys relaxing in his yard and playing with his favorite Kong.

Hugo was a joy to photograph and needed almost no time in the hair and makeup trailer.

Had a really good visit with my A-Shift brothers at Fire Station 25. The Ladder 10 crew got the show off their new jackets. Check them out.
