My darling son, you are leaving home to begin your 1st solo journey, university away from home. I am so proud and excited for you. Your life has endless possibilities, my love. You are so very talented.

Thank you to your father Ias for it all particularly passing on the michelin star level cooking skills that you are gonna need minus the expensive ingredients.

What am I gonna do now? When it's been all about you. Let me take your advice and try to 'get a life' too. My darling boy, I 💜💜💜 U!

Here's to a much cleaner house & 50% reduction in grocery shopping costs!

Greek Cooking class 🇬🇷
This dude went deep for 3 hours, passionately taking us through the history of Greek cuisine, while weaving in stories of the culture, its people, Greek mythology, political and historical events across the islands. All while teaching us to cook and pouring me wine.

Feeling quite hot out here 🥰🔥 taken in Greece, Zakynthos by @firedragon0

Dandelions & Akshaya Tritiya

My beautiful garden, this place often evokes a feeling of worry as it's not as I would like it & I feel like it's too big and unmanagable for me. Today, however, I am in awe of it's beauty especially the wildness, and I almost want to cancel the gardener booked on Friday. The sun has brought out thousands of dandelions.
Did you know dandelions have been used for centuries in traditional medicine & you can use the leaves in salads. Dandelions have a remarkable ability to thrive in the harshest of conditions. They even push through the cracks in concrete that have stopped their growth. I love it when they turn into the white fluffy flower, I remember from my childhood that I would pick, make a wish & blow! I still do this today.

Akshaya means eternal, and Tritya means 3rd day of the moon. Today is a special day in the Hindu calendar. I am not a Hindu, but my ancestors in Sri Lanka were. Shout out to @balance_you_live_ayurveda, a friend and Ayurvedic Practioner, for telling me about this day.
It's a time of hope, and what you give devotion to on this day will grow & be prosperous.

Nature gives us all the lessons we need, and it's the place to go for tranquillity and peace. We are nature. It is us. 💜 by @firedragon0
