“As the inaugural season of Firelands United women’s soccer comes to a close, I can’t believe how lucky I was to be able to get this group together. I can’t thank each of them enough for taking a chance on our young club, and agreeing to compete for the Lands. It was a new thing for our area, having a high level, competitive, club soccer experience for women. While it was a little bumpy out of the gate, we rallied and make it one heck of a season. From DMing local players to try to solidify numbers to @haileyyywilson hitting the scuba in our final match after an amazing goal, it was one heck of a ride. Ladies, I appreciate each and every one of you. Thanks for letting me coach you this season. And thank you for helping establish a great foundation for women’s minor league soccer in Sandusky. You’ll always have a home at FUFC 🔥”. - @andrewchwalik, Director & Coach taken in Firelands by @firelandsunited
