Today is my 30th birthday. A number I truly never thought I would see.

I didn’t think I would be the person to feel sadness of leaving my 20s, but I do. My 20s were filled with so much challenge, determination, sadness, grief, growth, knowledge, and understanding. All of those things making me who I am today. It feels wrong to leave them.

Often times I wish I were different. That the hand I was dealt was different, but in days like today, I know I am where I need to be. My experiences have put me exactly where I need to be and I hope to continue to make the conscious choices to live in my truth and my purpose.

The past year has been tough for me. New challenges and new beginnings. I am thankful for them all.

I wanted to share some of my favorite memories from the last year of my 20s. My friends, my family, my love, my growth.

I appreciate you all and all you have brought into my life. I look forward to the new years that lie ahead. The last year of my 20s brought on my blessings of getting my own apartment, my own car, and succeeding in my career. Things feel difficult, but I can see a path ahead to make me stronger.
