😮‍💨 - Okay, let me just say… this kind of situation happens way too often in real life—those messy, inappropriate teacher/student relationships. But in this book, that dynamic takes a dark, murderous turn 👀 And THAT ending?!! I was literally sitting there with my jaw on the floor, completely shocked 😂🔥 I didn’t see it coming at all. The plot twist was wild, totally unrealistic (because let’s be real, I would’ve panicked and died 😭), but it made for such a thrilling read. I can’t share too much without spoiling, but trust me… this one will take you on a ride.
- I was also to excited to read this so I listened to the audible before buying the book 😂😅 still going to buy the physical copy to add to the collection 😇📚

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 / 5

Swipe to see my take on the aesthetic/photos that could describe the book 🙂‍↔️😮‍💨
first, yes I’m going to be this reviewer to say that this book should’ve came with a trigger warning to the sensitive topics that the book involves. As a person who has trauma it was kind of a shock at first and kind of triggering which made it hard to continue reading. But as a fan of her books, I had decided to jump right in due to excitement and afterwards decided not to dnf one of her books so I continued.
Other than that, this book was definitely a page turner (after I got over the sensitivity) , I enjoyed the twist ending. I Definitely did not see that end coming, I was expecting a complete different turn out but ms.frieda did her thing once again. My anxiety involving the situation of the main character had me on edge throughout the whole book.
⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 / 5 (only due to the fact it was triggering for me but other than that great ending & great story otherwise!)

- A psychological thriller about MC Alicia Berenson who is institutionalized in a psychiatric facility for going mute after killing her husband, which intrigues psycho-therapist Theo Faber to try and make her talk again and tell her “true” story. As the story goes on, it unfolds many darks twist and deep secrets about Theo and the true story behind Alicia’s husband death and ends on a note that one wouldn’t see coming.
This book is an amazingly paced thriller & a great listen on audible 🎧🫣
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ‘s !!
