One of the things we love most about Fireweed Market is finding ways to support our community beyond just one afternoon of shopping! ⁠
⁠
This year, participating vendors have chosen to donate 10% of all sales to S.T.A.Y. (@somebodysthinkingaboutyou), a Utah-based nonprofit committed to raising awareness, reducing stigma, and educating the action sports community about mental wellness and suicide prevention.⁠
⁠
S.T.A.Y. intentionally uses art alongside education as a way to make conversations about mental health more approachable, visible, and normal. Through community events, educational resources, artwork, and merchandise, they work to combat the stigma surrounding mental health and suicide.⁠
⁠
Be sure to stop by their booth at Fireweed Market! They'll be located near the northeast entrance and will be sharing educational resources, hosting a give-to-get featuring products from @skullcandy, @dangshades, and @autumnheadwear, and will have S.T.A.Y. merchandise available!⁠

Hey folks! It's time to check out this FOOD & BEV LINE UP! We’re so excited about these options!!

@mozz.pizza is bringing their insanely good handcrafted sourdough pizzas and if you’ve had Mozz before then you already know it's tasty as heck!

@vostok_ut makes ridiculously solid smash burgers, fries, and more! You can't go wrong with their Double Classic!

@tomodachi_bakeshoppe is bringing beautiful Japanese-inspired baked goods that are almost too cute to eat. Almost. :)

@rayraysespresso will be there keeping everyone caffeinated and functioning throughout the day!

And @lacubanaslc is bringing Cuban food outside HK Brewing - if you haven't had it yet, what a treat! Their cubano is :pinched_fingers:

Plus of course we’ll have @hanskombucha and @hkbrewingco holding it down with kombucha, mocktails, beer, wine, NA drinks, and all the usual good stuff!

We are so excited to announce another Moab artist making the trek to SLC for Fireweed Market - @rainydaywomenjewelry ! Julia creates sterling silver jewelry inspired by time spent outside in the desert , river, and mountains around Moab. She even cuts some of her own stones herself! ⁠

LP Paint & Pottery doesn't have an IG at this time, but come check them out at Fireweed! This is Liana's first market and she will be sharing a booth with @crookedshedwoodworks ! LP Paint and Pottery creates pottery, prints, and watercolors. ⁠

This is our second to last post about the artists and makers joining us at Fireweed Market, this Saturday May 30th from 3-8 pm!! We will be posting about our food and beverage vendors tomorrow! ⁠

Without further ado...⁠
⁠
@caroznilsson ’s paintings feel like memories of the landscape instead of exact places and I'm not ashamed to say she's one of my favorite artists in SLC. Here energy shows through every piece, whether she's painting dreamy skies, water, mountains, shifting light, native flora & fauna, or showcasing how humans impact our environments. At its heart, Caro's work is about a deep relationship with landscapes, and all the human and non-human influences within them. ⁠
⁠
@staleywerks by Josh Staley is handmade, one of a kind jewelry. Josh does all his own lapidary work (processing the stones) before even starting the jewelry itself, so "the creative process begins long before the metal is formed—each stone's color, matrix, and natural character guide the one of a kind design that will hold it." - We love that! He'll be sharing a booth with his lovely wife Michelle of Dragonfly Creations, so make sure you stop by to see this powerhouse couple! ⁠

@era_fieldnotes is the gorgeous work of Emmaline, who creates landscape drawings inspired by climbing and outdoor experiences using layered vertical ink lines that are super mesmerizing to look at! Everything feels slow, thoughtful, and really connected to memory, like trying to hold onto the feeling of a place you loved long after you’ve left it. Come take a moment in her booth this weekend and remember your favorite mountain or tree. ⁠

And lastly, it's-a-me, @segomade ! I help run this market and make stained glass pieces in my spare time. I'm excited to be vending at Fireweed this year! ⁠

Laura Wittig is the artist behind @nextofkilndesigns , a small-batch ceramics studio! Check out her work for some lovely whimsy and happy colors - including some fun little gnome friends! ⁠

@knotplants.shop creates pure joy that keeps on giving! Rebeca specializes in crocheted plants and little pals. Her plants are perfect for folks with green thumbs and without! The new cacti are freaking awesome! ⁠
⁠
@frn.collective takes retired climbing rope and other secondhand materials and turns them into belts, bags, collars, leashes, hats, wallets, and more! Everything is sewn locally in their Millcreek studio - we love upcycled goods. Can't wait to see this work in person! ⁠

⁠And @tahoe.pine is the work of Kelsey, who hand fabricates every piece herself in SLC! She makes pieces inspired by the places and critters she loves with the hope they feel meaningful and spark a connection to you too! Kelsey is a bright ray of sunshine and her work is stunning so make sure you stop by and say hi! ⁠

We're over the moon that @paulinenicoledesign is joining us this year! Pauline hand fabricates all of her jewelry from raw silver sheet and wire, creating delicate, timeless one-of-a-kind pieces. Gorgeous work we can't wait to check out! ⁠

@crookedshedwoodworks makes handmade wood pieces ranging from cutting boards, kitchen goods, little functional objects, and even bolo ties if we're lucky! ⁠⁠

@kkbodaciousbeerbiscuitsut makes artisanal dog treats using spent beer grain and locally sourced ingredients that would’ve otherwise gone to waste. They also support local animal rescue groups! Love that! ⁠

@rachel.mangan.art creates watercolor work inspired by the desert, climbing, rivers, mountains, and public lands, and you can really feel that connection to the outdoors in everything she makes! We’re especially obsessed with the retired climbing rope wall pieces, just wait until you see them in person! ⁠

And @sticksandstonesdesignco makes lovely, beautiful jewelry featuring natural stones and high-quality metals. Sarah strives to combine intentionality and subtle details to create jewelry that is delicate, yet can be worn as your favorite everyday piece. ⁠

@keatonscrap takes discarded materials and turns them into beautiful wearable pieces! Bubble wrap, old denim, deadstock fabric, canvas scraps - it all ends up as colorful, textured, and incredibly cool bags, scrunchies, and more. We're so excited to see this and this will be Keaton's FIRST MARKET!! YAY!! ⁠

@desolymarhp creates hand built pottery pieces - that means no wheel! From spoon rests to wall hangers, platters, altars and more, you'll find something you'll absolutely need to bring home! ⁠

And @thehexpressprinting makes hand carved wood block prints and will be on site pressing shirts on demand! Look through her book of designs, choose the one you want, and she'll print it for you right then and there on her press! ⁠
