Some of the competitive salaried roles I’ve seen:
Data science, data analytics, business development, knowledge management, practice management, finance/accounting to name a few. First Wealth hot take—honestly not really that hot of a take, or at least it shouldn’t be: your packaging matters. How you present yourself and show up in places (that are important to you) can be all the luck you need sometimes.

On the first day of my music theory class in 9th grade, my teacher Mr. Freytag said “you should aim to embody the role you are undertaking.” When we entered music theory class, we were to take on the physical embodiment of a music theorist. When I left that school and went on to a different school with a strict(er) dress code, I actually began to see his point. Every time I got dressed for class, I wanted to embody a scholar.
