When production starts filming the drone too… we let it happen 😂🚁

Chief Pilot Misha sending the @djiglobal Inspire 3 up on @nissancanada’s “Conquer All Conditions” production.

A little BTS from the day, because apparently the drone needed its own camera crew too.

@steamfilms

Thanks to @s1w.ca for coming out with us on this one!

Sometimes you just catch the light perfectly. ☀️🚁

Flying the @djiglobal Inspire 3 along Toronto’s waterfront, we rose above Aqualuna by @tridelcommunities and a quick camera adjustment caught the sun directly over the roofline.

@ezbts.app automatically matches our footage with the RC Plus screen recording, while naming and organizing the clips as we fly.

A pretty cool way to see exactly what was happening behind the controls when the shot came together.

Practice makes perfect with the @rr_fpv Alligator X8 🚁

No gimbal needed for a test day like this. Just running batteries and getting more time on the sticks.

Uneven ground and FOD around the props is exactly why we bring our @hoodmanusa landing pads.

@mumfordandsons, a packed @rogers_stadium and fireworks to finish it off 🎆🚁

A few of our drone shots from an incredible night with @livenation @livenationon @livenationcanada

If you were there, did you catch the concert, the fireworks, or maybe even our drone? 👀

Flying full manual FPV while getting launched into the sky?! 😳🚁

Chief Pilot Misha reacts to @ivan.merino5 flying while strapped into a giant swing ride at @g_swing_bali.

@ivan.merino5, we need the story behind this one 😂

Don’t try this one at home.

Comms are one of those things we rely on every single day. 🎧🚁

Huge thanks to @earteccompany for upgrading our team to the new UltraLITE PRO16 system.

We use Eartec across our fixed wing and quad operations, and on set where clear communication between pilots, camera operators, visual observers and crew is critical.

The new PRO16 system supports up to 16 users without a hub, offers two communication channels, longer range and up to 10 hours of battery life.

We’ve trusted Eartec for a long time, so getting to put the new PRO16s to work has been an easy upgrade for our team.

Thanks again to @earteccompany for sending them our way. 🙌

The King’s Plate 🏇🚁

A look at our coverage from race day at @woodbinetb, with a little BTS from behind the controls.

We flew alongside @droneboycinema throughout the event, with direct pilot communication to keep both operations safely separated.

What does the pilot see while capturing a shot like this? 👀🚁

One of our favourite shots from @foofighters at @rogers_stadium, matched with exactly what our pilot was seeing on the DJI RC Plus.

We’ve partnered with @ezbts.app to integrate ezBTS into our Inspire 3 workflow. The software automatically screen records and syncs the pilot view with our Inspire 3 footage.

A simple way to capture the process, not just the final shot.

Check out @ezbts.app for more.

What happens when a drone gets struck by lightning? ⚡🚁

Chief Pilot Misha reacts to a drone taking a direct hit before crash landing on the beach below.

What did this pilot do wrong, and is this video even real?

Thankfully, no one was injured.

Real or fake? 👇

A few more from the tarmac ✈️🚁

Some of our favourite shots from a full day filming with @momentumsolutionsinc and @momentum_jets at @torontopearson alongside @montreal.planes

Flying in an active airport environment meant constant coordination throughout the day. Huge thanks again to @transportcanada and @navcanada.ca for helping make the operation possible.
