Today, Monday, October 12, 2026, the FGF offices will be closed in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day. “Indigenous Peoples’ Day recognizes that Native people are the first inhabitants of the Americas, including the lands that later became the United States of America” (Smithsonian Magazine, October 12, 2020). We invite you to join us in reexamining the history that many of us have been taught, in learning about the lands on which we live, work, and gather, and in recentering and repairing relations with Indigenous Peoples. by @firstgen.forward
