Day 306 of ROAD TO LA: Time for Takeoff 💛🌎

What. A. Year. I’m lost for what to say that could encapsulate all the incredible things that this years been. But I can without a doubt say that it was a road full of love, growth and insanely cool shi! So many events, so many dope friendships nurtured, so many fun days and nights- 2 EPs recorded, countless shows, countless laughs, a fuck tonne of stress, lots of drinks, lots of tears, and here we are baby- the road to LA has come to an end and now it is time for the real thing.

Thank you all so much for being a part of my journey; for believing in a Kurdish kid from Auckland who’s tryna take everything he believes in 2 da world 🌎 Thank you for supporting me, a massive thank you to all the incredible people in these photos and many more behind the scenes that I couldn’t have even started on this road without. To my family, First Gen team, girl, people and supporters, THANK YOU! I promise you I will make it. I promise you your investment in me will be the best decision you have ever made.

I was born from mountains, so it’s only natural that I’ve found a new one to climb; and best believe, like my ancestors have always done, I will rise to the top 💛 taken in Auckland Airport by @firstgenstudios

incoming soppy post about the bro as he prepares to leave us and take on LA 😭🤩

KOVAN -
from music video sets to Auckland Uni events, many JBL discussions (including the fact I always wear my JBL hat at every gig to support) and d&m’s at the most random of times and places, Kovan has always been a real g. I’ve been inspired by his passion & hard work and now he’s taking on LA. which I love to see but am so sad he’s not just gonna be around for a random gig anytime soon. the fact that he’s supported me so much and offered me opportunities means a lot, and I love that he’s that way with everyone - he has your back and wants to see you succeed 🤩🤩

shout out to the First Gen family who put on the best farewell party, but let’s be real, I can’t wait for the welcome back party haha
