Listen… when you turn 80 on a cruise, you don’t just celebrate ~you SHUT IT DOWN! 🎉🚢💃🏽

My mama was minding her business, looking all cute and fabulous, when our waiter decided it was HIS personal assignment to give her a full birthday dance performance! 😂
And baby… he did NOT come to play❣️

The smile on her face? Priceless.
The laughter at the table? Uncontrollable.
The memories? Forever locked in. ❤️
80 years young and still got the gentlemen lining up to dance!
I don’t know who was more entertained ~her or us watching her! 😂
Captain’s Night was beautiful… but THIS moment right here? Legendary.

Watching my daughter stand in this moment took my breath away.

To see her soror~place those pearls on her is more than tradition… it is legacy being transferred.

Pearls are formed under pressure, and today they rest on a young woman who has endured, grown, and answered the call with grace.

What a blessing to witness my daughter being covered by women of excellence, purpose, and sisterhood.

I am beyond proud of you, my daughter.

We respectfully request divine guidance and leadership. We seek assistance in maintaining focus and avoiding distractions. We also ask for protection and express gratitude for the provisions we have received. We further request blessings for our families, friends, and even those who may be considered adversaries.

These thirty years have been an amazing journey. We have had many ups and downs, and sometimes we had thought about going our separate ways, but God kept us. We have different personalities but the same love for one another. Thank you for riding this journey with me. The greatest gifts Robbin Criswell has given me were my two children, T.W. Criswell II and Emily C. Criswell. We don't have a perfect marriage, but we serve a perfect God who is perfecting us. Fight for your marriage if you want it. 🖤Day 30 of 30 💜 🤍
Today we close this 30-day journey with hearts overflowing with gratitude.

Tomorrow, by the grace of God, we celebrate 30 years of marriage. What a testimony❣️Thirty years ago, we stood before God, our family, and friends and said, “I do.” We had no idea what the road ahead would hold, but God knew every chapter.

We’ve experienced laughter and tears, mountain tops and valleys, victories and challenges. Through it all, we’ve learned that love is more than a feeling~it’s a daily choice.

A choice to forgive, a choice to communicate, a choice to pray, a choice to grow, and a choice to keep choosing each other.

We are not celebrating a perfect marriage~we are celebrating a faithful God who has sustained an imperfect couple. His grace has carried us every step of the way.

Thank you to everyone who has followed our 30-day countdown, prayed for us, encouraged us, and celebrated with us. Our prayer is that these posts have inspired marriages to hold on, fight for love, and keep Christ at the center.

As we step into our Pearl Anniversary tomorrow, we give God all the glory for bringing us this far.

Keep flirting…..KEEP FLIRTING❣️

NEVER let romance become a memory. Flirting isn’t just for the dating years~it’s a reminder that your spouse is still the one who makes your heart smile. Makes you still get butterflies when they walk in a room.

Hold hands. Exchange those knowing glances. Send the sweet text. Whisper the compliment. Laugh together. Make each other feel chosen every single day.

We have learned that love doesn’t stay alive by accident. It grows through intentional moments of affection, fun, and friendship.

“Let all that you do be done in love.”

🖤Day 28 of 30💜Don’t Play About Each Other.
One thing we’ve learned in almost 30 years of marriage is this: protect your spouse~even when they’re not in the room.

Never allow disrespect, gossip, or negativity to go unchecked. Speak highly of one another. Defend each other’s character. Be your spouse’s greatest supporter, biggest cheerleader, and safest place.

The world may have opinions, but your marriage should be united in love, honor, and respect. We don’t play about each other because we know the value of the covenant God has given us.

“Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” ~Mark 10:9

As we prepare to embrace 30 years on Monday , our prayer is that every couple will fiercely protect the love God has entrusted to them.

🖤Day 27 of 30 💜
Communication is key~it is necessary and essential. A strong marriage doesn’t thrive because two people never disagree. It thrives because they choose to communicate through every season. Honest conversations build trust. Listening with love brings understanding. Speaking with grace heals wounds before they become walls.

Healthy communication creates connection. Make time to talk. Make time to listen. Make time to understand one another. Every meaningful conversation is another brick in the foundation of a lasting marriage.

“Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.” ~Colossians 4:6

Almost Thirty ~has taught us that communication isn’t just important~it’s necessary, essential, and one of God’s greatest tools for keeping a marriage strong.

Praying this encourages every couple to keep talking, keep listening, and keep growing together❣️

🖤Day 26 of 30💜
Individuality is a must in a healthy marriage.
Becoming “one” in marriage doesn’t mean losing who God created you to be. We are husband and wife;however, we are also two individuals with unique gifts, passions, personalities, and callings.

A healthy marriage celebrates each other’s growth instead of competing with it. Give your spouse room to pursue their purpose, friendships, hobbies, and personal relationship with God. When two whole people continue growing in Christ, they bring even more strength, wisdom, and love into the marriage.

We understand to cheer each other on, pray for each other, and celebrate the individual assignments God has given us~because when one of us wins, we both win.

“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor.” ~Ecclesiastes 4:9

Almost thirty years later, we’re still growing together while allowing each other to grow individually. That’s one of the beautiful secrets to a lasting marriage❣️
