Girls Golf Canceled this Saturday ⛳

Due to the weather, tomorrow’s (Saturday, 10/17) Girls Golf has been canceled. We’re so sorry for the disappointment. This was our last Girls Golf of the year, and we want to say thank you to every young lady who participated this season. We loved watching you grow on the course. We can’t wait to see you all back next year! 💚 taken in First Tee of West Texas by @firstteeofwesttexas

⛳️ Course Closed Today ⛈️

While the radars show we’re getting a small break in the weather midday, the course is waterlogged and needs time to absorb the rain. With storms expected in the area throughout the day, we’re keeping the course closed for the safety of our youth golfers.

Thank you for your understanding, and we’ll see you soon! taken in First Tee of West Texas by @firstteeofwesttexas

Every child deserves a place to learn, play, and grow 💚

Through our Game Changers Fund, $70 a month (or $840 a year) gives a local child free access to our course all year long. Your gift turns into new skills, new friends, and the confidence to try hard things.

Join us and become a Game Changer. taken in First Tee of West Texas by @firstteeofwesttexas

Today we’re celebrating the coaches who show up for our First Tee West Texas participants week after week.

You teach more than the golf swing. You teach honesty, respect, perseverance, and sportsmanship, and you help kids see what they’re capable of on the course and off it. Your time, patience, and encouragement make a lasting difference in the lives of the young people you coach.

Thank you for everything you do for our kids, our chapter, and our community. We’re grateful for you! taken in First Tee of West Texas by @firstteeofwesttexas

💚Community Outreach💚

We loved hosting the students from Ben Milam International Academy, who came out to play golf with our Program Director, Stevie. It was a fun morning of swings, smiles, and plenty of encouragement, and we’re so happy we got to welcome them.

At First Tee West Texas, we believe golf is a vehicle for building character, confidence, and life skills, and moments like this are what community outreach is all about. We hope to see everyone back on the course soon! taken in First Tee of West Texas by @firstteeofwesttexas

📺 We made the news! 🏌️‍♀️

Thank you to KOSA CBS 7 and Ixchel Villarreal for shining a light on First Tee West Texas! Our kids are learning so much more than golf: they’re building confidence, character, and life skills on and off the course.
