Design challenge done from the @womeninconceptart discord server! Thank you to everyone in it for being so supportive! Please go check the account/discord out if you need motivation! The challenge was to design something based on the three given images, and they also suggested to use them for a Mermay design which I wasn’t planning on doing initially but I was drawn in by the references. I’m really happy with this piece and I really love how I did the rendering and colors, I’ve been struggling to feel adequate in my art for a while so I’ll take this as a small win in a larger set if wins to come!

Compilation of art I made this week!!! I think I’ll start making more of these since I don’t really have time to make finished works and I love this collage look!
And don’t worry I flipped the lino cut so the words are in fact reversed to print correctly!

Yesterday I hosted my very first workshop at 93 coffee!! It was such a pleasure teaching the attendees including the cafe owner Kumi! Thank you again to her and the cafe staff for their hard work and for accommodating and facilitating the workshop in the space!

I was also really happy to see improvement in the attendees in just two hours, they were so kind and were very attentive listeners and it made my first workshop an experience I won’t forget!

I did have my doubts about myself at first but I’m glad I went through with this and ticket something off the list of art related things I wanted to do for a long time. Sometimes it can be hard to call yourself an artist but now maybe I don’t have as many doubts about it!

Thank you again to the attendees for your patience and attentiveness, I hope I can host another workshop in the future because I had a lot of fun seeing everyone improve! by @fish_are_fake

Only 5 spots!

Im hosting my very first workshop at 93 coffee!!! It will take place August 27th at 3PM and will last one and a half to two hours so if you want to participate please come by! Materials and the set menu are included in the $35 dollar ticket price and you can take the materials home! (Pen and paper)

This workshop is suitable for beginners and is meant to be a fun entry into cafe drawing. I chose to use pens for this workshop because it gets rid of the stress of erasing and always trying to create something perfect.

If you want to learn how to create some stress free cafe drawing and record your outings through observational drawing and sketching this workshop is made for you! Also the parfaits at 93 coffee are so yummy so you should definitely come by ☺️

No one wishes to become a digital diviner, but once it’s decided one fits the criteria there is no choice on their part.

I made some sketches based on a loose idea I had playing with the idea of a digital diviner and trying to incorporate a digital “third eye” into the designs.
