Shiny Lotad! ✨
This the my favourite shiny from Pokémon GO Fest 2026! I was very surprised to find out that it has 6 legs! 😱

If you play Pokemon Go, did you get any shinies?
Who was your favourite? 😸

Please enjoy this Lily of the Valley cat from a few months back when the flowers were still in bloom. 🌱🤍😺

We’ve been sick with some sort of flu in the past week and so haven’t been online 🤧🤒😷 It’s been a monotonous schedule of two activities- sleeping and trying to figure out what Frankenstein meal we can put together with the things in our fridge and pantry. Oh and also lots of hot showers, so I guess that is three activities. The worst part of this is trying to get some rest while the sun is all bright and hot and cheerful outside 😠☀️ I hope everyone is healthy and doing well!

Nothing compares to a misty mountain view! 🏔️🩵

I had to fly to Montreal for work last week so didn’t get to be active here at all. Please have patience with me while I catch up! 😊

Even though there are mountains in Montreal, nothing beats the sheer size of the Rocky Mountains stretching from BC to the US. Or the presence of Mount Fuji and Mount Hakone in Japan, the latter which is an active volcano still.

Here’s a sleepy mountain cat to bring you sweet dreams as we drift off to the new week 🏔️✨

PS: I just learned that Montreal is named after Mount Royal which is one of the mountains (well, it’s more of a big hill) that is located at the province’s centre.

Zorua community day!

I spent too much time catching Zoruas this afternoon and not enough time drawing, hahaha. Hope you caught a shiny little trickster for all those who played Pokémon Go today! 😸🩵

Kero Kero Keroppi! 💚🐸
Growing up Keroppi was one of my favourite Sanrio characters. I had Keroppi keychain on my backpack and that was how I recognized my bag from others when I was in Kindergarten. I think that the bright green colour was one reason why I liked Keroppi. It was (and still is) not a very common colour for cute mascots and characters. Now as I am older, I feel more drawn to Pompompurin but Keroppi still has a special place in my heart. 🥰🎈
Do you have a favourite Sanrio character? Did your preferences change now that you are older?

Sunflower cat! 🌻

It’s starting to feel like the end of summer here in BC Canada. The weather is getting just a teensy bit cooler at night and days are a little bit cloudier. The sunflowers in the neighbourhood are give their all on those cloudy days, each of them a small golden sun smiling as we walk by. Here is a cheerful sunflower cat to wish you a great start on the new week! 💛😸☀️
