Ironman Augusta 70.3

1.2 Mile 🏊 - 56 Mile 🚴 - 13.1 Mile🏃

Finisher Time- 5 hours 33 Minutes 44 seconds

Unbelievable experience, energy, and atmosphere. 4 months of prep, discipline, and just showing up led to this first 70.3. Grateful for the challenge, grateful for the journey, and grateful for ability to push my body past limits I haven’t discovered yet. This race wasn’t about competing against anyone else. It was about finding out what was on the other side of doubt, discomfort, uncertainty and self-imposed limits on the human body/mind

Big shoutout to @blakejacques and the @haxclub family for dialing me in for race day.

To The Citadel,

Thank you for these past 4 years. All the ups and downs, early mornings, and sleepless nights. There were moments when nothing made sense, long days, and most times complete chaos. I laughed when I probably shouldn’t have, found the good times in the toughest moments, because sometimes the best way to push through was to find the GOOD in the face of adversity. Most times, I truly learned that the real lessons weren’t always in the books, drill, and even ball practice but they were in the people, the shared moments of adversity, and the unwavering support of those who stood around me throughout these past 4 years. I’m excited to see what God has in store for me next! 2N5
