Due to popular demand - we are holding a 3rd pedal making workshop with Dom Allen! Its on Sunday 6th December at 10am til 5pm.

https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/2002633718361?aff=oddtdtcreator

PEDAL MAKING WORKSHOP #3

Ready to get hands-on and create your very own guitar effects pedals?

Join us for an exciting workshop where you'll hand-wire an exclusive Harmonic Percolator style fuzz, or a spacey Weird Chorus pedal specially designed for this workshop.

You'll be under the expert tuition of Dom Allen from Everybody Hertz, guiding you through each step of building your own pedal and learning plenty of new skills to fuel your future DIY pedal projects.

"Harmonic Percolator style-fuzz"

There are few guitar effects that have developed a cult of personality and mystery around them like the InterFax HP-1 Harmonic Percolator fuzz. Famously made in small numbers in the 1970's & used by Steve Albini. During this workshop you will be selecting and auditioning vintage components to make your own horrible sounding fuzz machine.

"Weird Chorus Pedal"

After all this noise from the last weekend it's time to get a bit sophisticated with the Everybody Hertz Weird Chorus Pedal Workshop. This is an experimental circuit which produces a thick chorus effect, & various other unexpected sounds, including pitch bend, modulated delays and a kind of ring modulation.

No previous electronic experience is required. All tools and materials are provided. Strictly limited to 10 places - 5 tickets for each pedal type.

Come join us on the 30th of October to honour the ancestors through music and unity.

@hummtheband - Arty Jackson and Carys Lewin are ‘HUMM,’ a southwest based contemporary-folk duo with stories to tell, minds to change and worlds to re-imagine. Creating music which unites fellow nature-lovers with their inner activist. Soaring melodies and wistful instrumentation bring their earnest lyrics to life casting a collective spell over audiences with their rich harmonium drones, melodic finger-style guitar and lush ethereal vocals.

@st.fian - St Fian play a genre bending blend of trad and contemporary music, to make you laugh, dance, think twice and maybe even shed a tear. We are looking forwards to welcoming them to Get Folk'd!

@seamusmckennamusic - Get Folk'd! founder and artist Séamus McKenna has been promoting and supporting the local music scene where in Kernow since 2024. Blues/Folk and maybe even a little of country.....

We will be setting up a small shrine to honour our Friends & Family members who are no longer with us. Please bring a photo or item of a loved one who is no longer with us so that we can all share in remembering them on this ancient festival.

Incredible artwork as always! by @tamboureux 🐇🎨

Tickets are £12.50 (link in bio) and also available on the door but PLEASE PRE PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS WHEN POSSIBLE! This makes grassroots promotors lives so much easier 💚

See ya there! 🎃

MF of a metal show coming your way! october 24th

Offworld Endeavours brings a night of doom, death, and black metal from the best in the South West - Warcrab, Monolithian, and Coffin Fodder

Plymouth's long running death/doom/sludge masters WARCRAB make their return to Penryn/Falmouth for the first time since their sold out show in the Cornish Bank in '23. For fans of Crowbar, Conan, Autopsy. It's going to be heavy as shit.

Falmouth's very own MONOLITHIAN play a rare local show so really make sure not to miss this. In the past few years they've played all over including shows in Norway and supporting the legendary powerviolence band Iron Lung. They're pretty much Cornish metal royalty. If you don't know what they're about then where have you been?! Heavywieght doom two-piece. The real deal. Bang your head.

COFFIN FODDER make their long overdue return. They have navigated the pits of hell returning heavier, more evil...and with a new drummer! Kernow's premier black metal band with one of the best vocalists in the South West. New album out soon!

There will be tickets on the door. No one turned away for lack of funds.
