Mako shark ripped the line right out of my hand.
We ended up giving it the other half since the tuna had so many teeth marks on it.

There was no reason for me to end another yellowfin tunas life’s when I already had plenty of fish. I enjoyed the fight and catching him and that’s enough for me. Catch and release is always an option…even for a tuna.

One of the most wide open bites I’ve experienced. Every bait was bit in seconds and by either a Dorado, Yellowfin Tuna or Skipjack.
El Niño fishing has been a blast and I’m really going to miss it when it’s over.

We were catching a lot of 15-25lb yellowfin tuna and this bigger unit around 45lb decided to take my flyline sardine. Fishing is amazing right now.

These little Bonito are a fun fight for their size. It’s always important to be ready for a bite as your jig is sinking. Remember that as it’s sinking it’s already attracting fishing by fluttering.
