Just kidding. 😂 I love having my husband home, and I’m incredibly thankful for every minute we get together...

But after weeks of 12-hour shifts and him basically existing in a work/shower/sleep rotation, apparently I have to readjust to the full husband experience. 😐😂

Wouldn’t trade having him home for anything.

…just maybe with the volume turned down and a little more ventilation. 🤣 by @fishingwithpockets

65° in South Georgia this morning and they couldn’t keep their lips off my lil Willie! @willie_petes_baits I took an array of baits but never had to put the glide down. The downsized lil Willie was the 🧃My @dobyns DC735C handled the lil willie perfectly too. Love my Dobyns! by @fishingwithpockets

Okay, I have to give credit where credit is due. 😂

Thank you @adventureswithgabygaby for the inspiration because TRUE WORDS HAVE NEVER BEEN SPOKEN. 🤣

I cook for him.
I pack his dinner.

Not because I’m here to be his servant. 😂
I just genuinely enjoy taking care of him.

But let’s be clear… I also tell him what to do, give unsolicited opinions, and occasionally threaten his life over absolutely nothing. 🤣

I’m traditional… but I’m also a little unhinged.

It’s called balance. 😂 by @fishingwithpockets

That first content monetization paycheck really did something to me. 😂

Now anytime I see something remotely interesting, I grab my phone…

…and maybe immediately forget why I grabbed it.

Was I supposed to call 911?
No idea.

Was I supposed to make a Reel?
Apparently. 😂

Never know what you’ll catch on an @bucca_brand 4” Trick Shad! The @dobynsrods Champion DC735C was thankfully able to winch him in. 😬 by @fishingwithpockets

Swung by @academy to take advantage of the Birthday coupon in my email and shoot if the @big_bite_baits ORBIX had shown up since I was last there a few days ago. For $6.99 each I had to throw some dollars their way! by @fishingwithpockets

Ugh. Currently in the midst of trying to save my @dirtyjigstackle fleet. Went to grab one out the box the other day and the band had popped, so far just 2 had given up. Trying to hand tie them all preemptively now with some upcycled 40# braid. About 8 minutes per jig preemptively, if the band has already let go it’s closer to 20 mins to sort it out. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Most are 2-3 years old and I guess the rubber bands have had it. 8 down, 44 to go. 💀 Some are newer and I still have some backups new in the bag but they’re all about to get the treatment if I don’t end up cross eyed first. 😵‍💫 #dirtyjigstackle by @fishingwithpockets

Never said I’m perfect 😅 I’ve had lots of close calls with these pricey baits, but thanks to the Sufix 65# braid and those swimming lessons when I was 3, I’ve only lost one glide so far. 🤞🏻 Usually my braid will bend out even a 3x hook or winch in the whole snag be it a limb or a small stump, at the expense of my fingers of course. Worst case I’m swimming. I let one glide go thanks to the many gators taking up residence in the area. Hated to let it go but was def the reasonable decision. by @fishingwithpockets

80# on a heavy SB rod, 65# on a regular SB rod, and 40# on everything else, oh maybe 20 or 30# on a spinning setup but who uses those? 😂 It’s rare but I’ll run a mono leader if/when necessary. Mostly straight braid here. @sufixlines by @fishingwithpockets
