🐟🎨 Better late than never! Just in time for October 31st, this green buddy barely scraped across the Orctober finish line. Thanks to the good old slapchop technique, the painting went super fast – an absolute lifesaver when you (like me) almost miss the deadline again. It is obviously far from pro-level, but I hope the grimy armor and rusty axe look good against the lava backdrop. Waaagh! 🎨🐟

🐟🎨 Digging out the old classics! This High Elf from the Last Alliance is over 20 years old and pure nostalgia.

Painted quickly using the Slapchop method: black prime, drybrush, Contrast paints for armor & cloth – ready for the Battle of Mount Doom! 🌋

Far from a masterpiece, but I had so much fun with this one. Hope you like it! 🎨🐟

🐟🎨 Cold, freezing, and ready for action on the Bolt Action battlefields! 🥶 My German Winter Infantry from Warlord Games is good to go. They certainly aren't display-case masterpieces, but I'm really happy with the results of the Slapchop method. The contrast between the thick green greatcoats, the white helmets, and the icy snow on the bases just looks awesome on the tabletop. 🎨🐟

🐟🎨 Bringing the heat! My first ever attempt at a lava base!

This time, an XV25 Stealth Battle Suit of the T’au Empire hit the painting desk. I decided to try something completely new here – my very first lava base! I was really curious if the glowing red and the dark rocks would actually look like lava in the end, but for a first try, I’m pretty happy with it! I hope I can get away with it. 🎨🐟

🐟🎨 Back from the dead… or rather: I’m back!

It’s been quiet around here for a while. To be honest, I just didn't have the drive to pick up a brush lately. Do you know those phases where the hobby desk is calling, but the motivation is just nowhere to be found?

But hey, the art block is finally broken! I sat back down and finished this grim fellow right here. It feels so good to actually complete something again!

Painted as always in my beloved, amateur yet passionate style – and of course using the good old Slapchop method (sometimes I just don't have the patience for anything else...). I really enjoyed working on the icy/crystalline base! 🎨🐟

🐟🎨 When I first started this account, I simply wanted to share my passion for amateur mini painting—feeling pretty unsure if anyone would even care to see it. I never imagined that 500 of you would join me here to follow my journey of brushes, paint, and plastic!

Thank you so much for all the likes and kind comments—they truly keep me motivated to keep creating. Here’s to the next 500! 🎨🐟

🐟🎨 “Grandfather Nurgle loves you... whether you like it or not!”

My latest Plague Marine is ready to spread pestilence and ruin. I tried to give the armor that properly foul, rusty look. Swipe through to see his little “helper” on the base—I think those two are inseparable! It’s far from perfect, but hey, at least it’s one less grey mini in the pile! 🎨🐟

🐟🎨 Meet the newest addition to the squad! He might not be the brightest git in the swamp, but he's obsessed with his yellow shield. He firmly believes yellow makes him faster... and who am I to argue with an Orruk?

So happy to have another mini finished thanks to the magic of Slapchop. It’s definitely not display standard, but he’s mine and I’m proud of him. Ready to join the horde! 🎨🐟

🐟🎨 A true Space Wolf, ready to charge into battle! It might not be perfect, but he definitely has character!

I love the color contrasts in this scheme, and of course, it just had to be a snow base! This proud Space Wolf was painted entirely using the slapchop technique. I'm still learning and refining my technique, but I'm really happy with how the blue armor and red weapons turned out.

This method makes it so much easier to get an army finished while still achieving great results that look awesome on the tabletop! 🎨🐟

🐟🎨 Who am I? Does anyone have any idea who this guy is and where he comes from? I found him in a box the other day and just painted him up. I'm calling him the 'Horned Guard'. He was the perfect project for my Slapchop experiments. 🎨🐟

🐟🎨 A new champion for the Dark Gods is ready for the battlefield!

I decided to tackle another Chaos Warrior and – how could it be any different – broke out the good old Slapchop technique. It’s always so fascinating to see how cool the contrasts turn out thanks to that heavy under-shading and drybrushing. He’s definitely not perfect, but the painting process was just pure fun!

I’m particularly proud of the subtle orange glow inside the helmet and on the axe – a little bit of magic is a must, right? And for the base, I thought: why not create an icy contrast to that warm cloak? 🎨🐟

🐟🎨 “Feel the power of nature... and a little bit of magic!” 🌿⚡

Maegan Cyndewin is finally done! I just love dynamic poses on miniatures, and this one practically screams action. To capture the swirling cloak and the magical energy of the staff, Slapchop was definitely the right choice for me – quick, effective, and it really makes the folds in the fabric pop.

I also added a bit of icy/magical blue to the base to match the tip of the staff. 🎨🐟
