Breast Cancer Cure - Fashion In The Vines with Kathryn Wilson & Trelise Cooper 💕 What an amazing event! So much love to my super talented Joico Style Squad!!! Your looks were incredible and the support you give each other is so appreciated. 💕 We had loads of fun backstage with the very talented MUA from @lancomeofficial!! The incredible venue @peregrinewines really set the scene. Petra & Wilhelmina guided the vibrant guests through the evening. The night wrapped up with epic tunes from @sweetmixkids 🪩 The party continued alll night!

‘Ngā Manu Kōrero is about honouring the special and unique existence of being Māori and of sustaining our connections to the Māori world in all its glory’

This two day event is 61yrs old. Incredibly challenging for the individuals involved and as a spectator it is so inspiring!!!
I was in absolute awe of our rangatahi. Listening to them speak about what is in their heart with such passion & mana. Giving advice like ‘how we can live more with less’ and ‘we speak to awaken our thinking’.
The fluency of the reo was just so strong! I look to my time on the stage 30yrs ago I can see how far it has come. As the dominant language of the day it is hard to think in English after being immersed in its beauty for the two days.
I was full of nostalgia as I remember my time with Ka Awatea, Roncalli College. The friendships and the experiences are just so incredible. The support from whanau, kaiako/teachers & students/tauira.
Watching Ka Awatea tautoko the speakers from Roncalli College made me think of everyone. ❤️

Watching with bursting pride as my niece Abi competed in the ‘Sir Turi Carrol - Junior English’. Her speech about ‘Home: The place your soul bookmarks’ brought me to tears and inspired me to keep our whanau close, draw strength and belonging from our whakapapa and whenua.

What an incredible experience ✨

Sav and I had the absolute pleasure of doing the hair for the beautiful models at the Flock Hill Breast Cancer Cure Fundraiser 💕 Watching the girls walk the runway showcasing amazing designer brands, including Trelise Cooper, was so special to be a part of.

A huge thank you to Amber and Felicity for giving us such a surreal experience — we loved every minute of it! 🫶 So grateful for the opportunity and already looking forward to many more adventures 🎉🤍
