Our last summer of just you. 🥹🤍

The sweet kisses, morning snuggles, endless pool days, picking flowers in the fields, daily walks with nowhere to be, extra time with family, family vacations, slow mornings, late nights, no schedules, and the kind of freedom that comes with having nowhere to rush off to.

Our last summer of it being just us three.

Next summer, you’ll be a big brother. You’ll have a baby brother to love, protect, annoy, and grow up alongside. 🥹 And I know watching you become a big brother is going to be one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever witnessed.

But part of me will always look back at this summer and miss the little boy you were before everything changed.

Before you had to share our arms.
Before our family grew.
Before you became “big brother.”

You’ll always be my first baby. My first little love. The one who made me a mama. 🤍

And while I cannot wait to meet the version of you that comes next, I wish I could bottle up this exact season … just you, just us, and all the little ordinary moments that made this summer ours.

We were just trying to do a kind thing and take Dad to work. I guess that’s what we get for being nice. 😭😂
