POSTS STORIES REELS

Let’s be real for a second: the soft tissue, the loose skin, the extra layer—it is entirely normal after housing a human being. Your body changed to grow a life.

But if you are working out, watching what you eat, and still frustrated by a stubborn "mom pooch" that refuses to budge, you need to hear this: It might not actually be fat at all.

Many times, a persistent lower belly bulge postpartum is actually a structural and pressure management issue.

Think about the classic postpartum posture: your ribs are flared, your pelvis is tipped forward, your glutes are permanently clenched, and you’re constantly sucking in your stomach to try and look flatter.

Here is the clinical reality of what that does:
❌ It destroys your core's leverage
❌ It creates a "pressure trap":

You cannot crunch or "kegel" your way out of a structural alignment issue. Fitness influencers will give you an ab circuit; as a Pelvic Floor PT, I want to restore your entire system.

True deep core activation doesn't start with a plank. It starts with breathing into your back ribs, unlocking your pelvis, and getting your body out of that stuck pregnancy pattern so your muscles can fire automatically.

If you’re tired of guessing through your recovery and ready to train your core for the actual sport of motherhood, I’m here to help you get off the treatment table and back into your life.

For those that are new around here—hi and welcome! 🤍

I’m so glad you’re here, and I thought I’d take a minute to introduce myself.

I’m Veeda Ahmad—Doctor of Physical Therapy, women’s health and pelvic floor specialist, and mama to two toddlers. Life is busy, messy, and full of lots of love (and snacks) around here. 👶🏽👧🏽✨

I work with pregnant and postpartum women who want to…
💛 Stay active through pregnancy
💛 Prepare for birth with confidence
💛 Heal their core and pelvic floor
💛 Return to movement without fear, pain, or leaking
💛 Resolve Orthopedic pain like neck, shoulder, knee, hips and back

I have worked with moms virtually and In-person who needed support through postpartum healing, chasing toddlers while leaking, wondering if I’d ever feel strong again. And I knew there had to be a better way than “just do your Kegels.”

Here, at Fit2Push we focus on real recovery—not bounce-back culture.

Because I believe:
✨ You deserve care, not guesswork.
✨ Leaking is common, but not normal.
✨ And feeling strong in your body again isn’t selfish—it’s essential.

If you’re new here—say hi in the comments or shoot me a DM! I’d love to get to know you. 💬

And if you’ve been here for a while—thank you for being part of this beautiful community.

📌 Save this post so we don’t stay strangers. #pregnant #postpartumfit #birthprep #momlife by @fit2push.drveeda

You don’t have to guess your way through healing anymore.

Whether you’re leaking, dealing with pelvic heaviness, struggling postpartum, or just want to feel strong again—I’ve got you 💛
Here’s how we work together 👇

👩‍⚕️ Who I work with:
Women trying to conceive, pregnant, newly postpartum, or years into motherhood still dealing with pelvic floor dysfunction, pain, or pressure.

💬 Step 1: Discovery Call
A quick chat to learn about your body, your goals, and what’s been holding you back.

📝 Step 2: Comprehensive Assessment
We take a deep look at your movement, breath, posture, and pelvic floor to understand your root cause—not just the symptoms.

📈 Step 3: Your Accountable Framework
A custom, progressive plan designed to rebuild your strength and confidence. I guide you every step of the way—no guesswork, no fluff.

💻 1:1 Virtual Coaching
Perfect for moms anywhere in the U.S.

📍 In-Person Physical Therapy now available in New Jersey!
📍Birth Doula Services Available through out New Jersey

✨ Why work with me?
Because this isn’t cookie-cutter.

This is about your body, your life, and care that’s actually supportive, evidence-based, and results-driven.

📥 DM me “READY” if you’re ready to stop guessing and start healing.

Your postpartum plan cannot stop at breathing on a mat if your life requires you to lift a stroller, carry a toddler, get up from the floor—and occasionally do all three while holding snacks.

Breath work and reconnection matter.

But they are the foundation, not the finish line.

Your core and pelvic floor need to coordinate with the rest of your body while you squat, reach, lift, carry, run, and move through actual motherhood.

And if you’re still noticing leaking, heaviness, back pain, or abdominal doming when you exercise, it does not mean your body failed.

It may mean the foundation has not yet been progressed toward the function you’re asking for.

Reconnect.

Retrain.

Rebuild.

Not to “bounce back.”

To build the strength and capacity motherhood keeps asking you to use.

Built for Motherhood begins November 6 at Play First NJ. Send me a message for registration details.

Motherhood is physical. Are you training your body for it? 💪🏽💜
As a pelvic floor PT, I don’t just prescribe Kegels and breathwork.

I help moms build strength, improve mobility, manage pressure, and prepare their bodies for the REAL physical demands of motherhood.

That’s exactly why I created Built for Motherhood — a 4-week, movement-based pelvic floor and core series designed for:
🤰 Pregnant women at any stage of pregnancy who want to stay active, build strength, and better understand their changing bodies. Exercises are modified to accommodate your stage of pregnancy and individual needs.

🤱 Newly postpartum moms who want to reconnect with their core and pelvic floor, learn how to move confidently, and build a strong foundation for recovery.

💪 Moms months or even years postpartum who want to continue building strength, improve their movement capacity, and confidently return to running, lifting, or their favorite workouts.

Whether you’re preparing for your first baby or chasing toddlers, this series is designed to meet you where you are.
We’ll start with the foundations and progressively build toward functional strength and movement you can use in everyday life.

Because motherhood is physical, and your body deserves to be prepared for it.
