This memory popped up from 4 years ago in Paris. My brother Todd and his wife Patty got us an Airbnb on the Champ-Élysées and every morning Kiki Boo Boo and I would get coffee and a croissant at this cafe. One day Kiki Boo Boo asked for an ice coffee and the barista said that they don’t have ice coffee. I asked if they had ice and she replied,”we don’t do ice coffee” The French don’t do ice coffee, fun fact. #itsfuntobethedad #wanderlust by @fitdiscodad

Happy Bastille Day! 4 years ago on this date, thanks to my brother and his wife, organized this trip to Paris. On the first day we were in Paris on Bastille Day, which is the French’s equivalent of our Fourth of July. On day one Kirin and I rented electric scooters and rolled down the Champs Élysées like we own the joint. Let me tell you about the Parisians, they’re all elegant and classy. They all dress well and have such a unique style. The soldiers and police officers who were there to make sure no shenanigans were happening, all look like they came out of central casting, super tall, beautiful and spoke English with a delightful French accent. As a rad dad, my advice to all you parents, travel with your kids abroad, open up their experiences to different cultures. Both my kids are globe travelers and that’s D-Nice’s and my special gift to them. #itsfuntobethedad #wanderlust #Ilovemyfamily by @fitdiscodad
