What a lifetime experience.

My first race on the world stage wasn’t the start I expected — but it lit a fire in me for what came next. The nerves hit hard, but with my team behind me, I came back stronger and hit my personal best in the relay. 🏆🙏🏻

Stepping onto the blocks for my first-ever international competition was a moment I’ll never forget. This meet had highs, lows, and surprises — but what mattered most was showing up, pushing past my comfort zone, and giving everything in the moment.

Huge thanks to my family, friends, colleagues, and especially all my teammates — for making this journey unforgettable. Racing side-by-side in the relay was pure adrenaline and pure joy. ❤️🙌🏻

A busy and exciting event season here in the UAE! 🇦🇪 Great to see the industry thriving, with B2B and B2C events bringing people together, creating opportunities, and driving business forward.

And the momentum doesn’t stop there. 🌍 Informa continues to expand its global footprint, with the announced acquisition of Clarion Events for $2.96 billion marking another major milestone in its growth journey. The deal will add around 100 event brands to its portfolio, further strengthening its position as a global leader in the events industry.

It’s exciting to see the direction the company is heading, expanding into new markets and growing its presence not just here in the UAE and the wider region, but across the globe.

Just to put this out there — I’m not a trainer myself, nor am I anywhere close to being one 😅. I’m simply someone who cares about the fitness industry and believes in sharing information, raising awareness, and supporting the people who work in it. 🙏🏼

My intention is never to tell trainers how to do their job, but rather to encourage more awareness, education, and healthy conversations around the industry.

As His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum continues to remind us, we do not wait for perfect conditions. We keep delivering projects, moving forward, creating opportunities and growing our economy. 🇦🇪

That message really reflects what we continue to see across the UAE today.

Seeing our venues busy with international and local visitors, tourists, exhibitors and industry professionals is a great reminder of the energy and momentum behind the events industry. 🌎

Events are back, venues are busy, and the UAE continues to welcome the world.

It was also great to see and meet with His Excellency Sharif Al Olama, Undersecretary for Energy and Petroleum Affairs at the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, during the event.

Having our leaders and ministers visit exhibitions and events is a powerful reflection of the importance of these industries and the continued momentum behind bringing people, ideas, industries and opportunities together.

The energy is there. The momentum is growing. And we continue to build.

While others wait for the perfect conditions, we keep moving forward and making things happen.

The event season is officially back! 📆🚀

After a period where a number of events were pushed back and schedules shifted, the final quarter of the year is now shaping up to be a busy one, with back-to-back events and plenty happening over the next few months.

Starting tomorrow with Middle East Energy, the first large-scale event of the quarter and the beginning of what looks set to be a packed few months ahead.

Looking forward to connecting with new people, catching up with familiar faces, exploring new opportunities, and being part of some great conversations throughout the upcoming events.

The lesson in life ✨

Life has a way of taking us through different chapters, and sometimes the greatest lessons come from the chapters we never planned.

My journey has taught me that success isn’t only about what you achieve; it’s about who you become along the way.

Hospitality taught me the importance of people and relationships. My career taught me the power of bringing people and opportunities together. My transformation taught me discipline, patience and consistency. And standing on stages taught me that our experiences become even more meaningful when they can inspire someone else.

Losing 100kg changed my body, but the real transformation happened within me. It taught me that change doesn’t happen overnight. It happens through small decisions, repeated consistently, especially on the days when you don’t feel like continuing.

Perhaps the biggest lesson is this:

Never underestimate what is possible when you decide to believe in yourself and keep showing up.

Your past does not have to define your future. Your circumstances can change. Your confidence can grow. Your story can be rewritten.

And sometimes, the journey you go through yourself becomes the very story that gives someone else the courage to begin theirs.

Keep going. Keep believing. Keep becoming.
