I truly don’t know how I got so lucky to have these incredible horses in my life. 💖

Stella — my rock, my sentimental friend, and a piece of my heart for so many years. You have filled a space in my life that words could never quite describe. This past week was a difficult one, as we faced some unexpected medical concerns—one in particular that I wasn’t quite ready to come to terms with. I’m beyond grateful that neither were you.

What started as a simple demo quickly became something far more emotional. Thank you for being my dance partner, a teacher, and for reminding me once again just how much we’ve built together. I’m endlessly grateful for you. 🤍

Stitch — my feral kid, the goofball of the herd, and a young horse who has already exceeded my expectations. At just 19 months old, we’ve intentionally kept our work simple. I’ve given you the time and space to grow, develop, and simply be a baby.

Yet this past week, you stepped out of the field each day and rose to every challenge. We had only paired you with Stella twice—once on the ground and once from her back. And somehow, you walked into this demo and worked alongside Stella and me as though you had done it numerous times before.

It was only your third time working as a team, and your first time doing so off property and you handled it with such confidence and maturity.

You have an incredibly bright future ahead of you, my feral child. 🤎

I’m so proud of both of you. Thank you for trusting me, teaching me, and continually reminding me why I love what I do. 🐴✨
