福島県南相馬市/北泉海岸で開催されている『第60回全日本サーフィン選手権大会』ボーイズクラスにおいて、宮波汰 @haruta.miya は自身初のファイナル進出。3位入賞🥉を果たしました。

朝6時から海が夕陽に包まれる中行われたファイナルヒートまで、ラウンドを重ねるごとに調子を上げて、ベスト2ウェイブを揃えながら勝ちを重ねた波汰。
16歳の秋☀️に価値あるファイナリストとなりました。

おめでとう、波汰。
明日からまた、サーフィンに磨きをかけていきましょう✊

Last one from an afternoon with Derek at the pass, watching Derek do run arounds and going faster than probably everyone else in the water made me realise that as much as I love shooting high performance surfing this is actually what it’s all about. Fun. It made me reminisce of a session I had riding a mat for the only time ever at Boulders on a new swell back in 94’ travelling with my best mates from Wales, I was flying along a set wave giggling like a kid with dolphins jumping in the wave alongside me and it was one of the most memorable surfs I’ve had. To think of all the places and waves we travelled to @chippy.thomas, I would love to see that old vhs footage of that day. Ocean appreciation post 🙌🏻♥️ taken in Byron Bay, New South Wales by @fitsystems_wetsuits
