Yesterday, I attended the Executive Technical Debt Workshop, The State of Modernization: Navigating Technical Debt, AI, and Organizational Change, and walked away with valuable insights on the intersection of AI, modernization, and organizational transformation.

A few key takeaways:

* Technical debt is a business risk, not just a technology problem.
* AI can accelerate application discovery, documentation, and institutional knowledge capture.
* Successful modernization requires strategic prioritization, stakeholder alignment, and sustainable engineering practices.

One thing is clear: AI transformation is about more than adopting new tools. It’s about empowering people, reducing risk, and building the foundation for sustainable innovation.

Yesterday was such a blessing! ❤️ I had the pleasure of attending Dr. Lovelie Moore’s book signing for My Vulnerabilities Are Patched at Las Colinas Country Club, and I left feeling inspired.

As someone who works in tech and is passionate about mental health, I loved the connection between cybersecurity and healing. We spend so much time patching vulnerabilities in our systems, but we also have to make space to acknowledge and heal our own.

A beautiful reminder that vulnerability is not weakness, and healing is strength. So grateful for the connection, the conversations, and the reminder that protecting our peace matters, too!

Ended the week surrounded by brilliant minds, meaningful conversations, and people who genuinely care about impact.loop

I had the opportunity to attend Dell Technologies’ AI for Human Progress event at Q2 Stadium in Austin, and it was such a great way to close out the week.

One of my biggest takeaways? AI is about so much more than the technology. It’s about people.

We talked about AI literacy, future-ready skills, data, cybersecurity, responsible AI, governance, and how we can use AI to streamline processes and ultimately serve people and communities better.

But honestly, the networking was one of my favorite parts. There’s something special about being in a room with people who are not only excited about AI and innovation, but are also thinking deeply about community impact and how technology can create opportunities for others.

I left feeling inspired, challenged, and even more curious about what’s possible when we bring technology + people + purpose together.

And that’s the reminder I’m taking with me:

Don’t just experiment with AI. Find a problem worth solving, start somewhere, learn, collaborate, and create impact.

What a way to end the week. Austin definitely showed out!

POV: You’re a 40-something introvert who decided it’s finally time to get out of her shell.

I’m in my 40s, figuring out what this next chapter looks like, and honestly… I’m ready to let you see a little more of the woman behind the scenes.

I’m naturally an introvert, which means I can be perfectly happy at home, in my own little world, minding my business. 😂 But lately, I’ve been challenging myself to get out of my shell, try new things, meet new people, say yes to more experiences, and actually LIVE a little more out loud.

So what can you expect around here?

✨ Glimpses into my life as a 40-something woman
✨ Wellness, Pilates and my ongoing glow-up
✨ Travel, food and finding fun things to do in Dallas
✨ Career, tech and navigating life as a woman in the industry
✨ Dating, being single in the city and everything that comes with it

Birthday dinner vibes at The Saint and it was everything I hoped for. Great food, even better conversations, and an energy that made the night feel so special. The atmosphere, the views, and every little detail made it the perfect place to celebrate. Safe to say this won’t be my last visit. I’ll definitely be back!
