This young lady is 16 and just got her driver’s license. She took our VCAT class last Saturday because her dad understands that one’s personal safety is also one’s personal responsibility.

At this point I’ve got too many hours and too many miles on these Salomon Speedcross 6 shoes to count. They’ve been my primary range and trail shoes since the first of this year and they’ve performed and held up admirably.

They’re light and supportive with a good arch that’s not overly high or painfully low. On our training days it’s not uncommon for me to literally be on my feet for 12+ hours. These shoes never leave me fatigued or with any kind of foot or back pain the next day.

On trail they’re super grippy on all kinds of surfaces. The rocks in this pic are pretty slick but I have my full weight on the shoe at that angle and the shoe didn’t move a millimeter. You can see the upper flexing under the strain.

They’re not waterproof, but they do dry very fast and have awesome ventilation on hot days or long days in-shoe. Although I believe they have a waterproof version, I typically prefer an above ankle boot for wet stuff.

I’ve worn many Salomon models over the years and these are now my go-to shoes from them. Anyway, give ‘em a try if you’re in the market. Link in comments

Hey @areaccessories , any chance the replacement third brake light that I’ve been waiting on for two plus years is on this truck? Yeah I didn’t think so. What good is your warranty if you don’t answer your danm phone or emails when someone tries to make a claim? Guess we’ll go this route for a bit. by @five_o_tactical

Cops that spend their time off seeking out quality training that compliments their professional requirements are an unfortunately rare breed. That’s why seeing this Tulsa Police officer back again for yet another class is so refreshing. He’s definitely an asset to the profession, TPD and the citizens of Tulsa. Plus, as we say in Oklahoma, he’s just good people.

A quick update on the @ebl_official_ Voyager 1000w power station. I used it all week to power the
@iceco_icecool VL45 for 12 hours a day in temps averaging 92°. They Voyager didn’t skip a beat and performed as well or better than similar units I own or have used costing 2-3 times as much. I’ve got a few more “demanding” tests to put it through, but so far I’m loving it.

The ICECO, in case you’re wondering, is just plain badass and super efficient. The EBL pic shows the watts pulled when the compressor is running. The watts per hour averaged a very minimal 10 for the week, all while keeping my water a cool and refreshing 34°!
