Billie McCord - Ohio based artist for hire

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

*IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT*

If you come into my booth with kids - they absolutely CAN touch my art. They CAN 100% get *really* close to it. I do not mind at all. My art is not as precious as the magic and wonder in their eyes. I am a safe space for curiosity and I’m happy to see them experiencing the world (and sometimes art) for the first time.

To the parents at street fair that spent all day yesterday saying things like “hands to yourself” “don’t touch” “be gentle” - you’re doing great and thanks for coming! I know how much more work it is to bring them along, but it’s really important that you do. 🫶🏼 by @fiveoaksstudio

A few months ago, a friend of mine reached out and asked me to paint at a “Wild Becoming” women’s retreat she was organizing at a horse ranch.

Our mission was to help women find ways to nurture their wild spirit. Little did I know, the spirit that needed nurturing was my own. (Funny how that works 😉)

I came out of this last Saturday feeling empowered and remembering my purpose - to heal others through art. Being fully present and staying true to my artistic gifts is my dharma. ☯️

Sharing space in this sacred circle of healers was an honor. Thank you all for working your magic with me and on me. 🙌🏼✨

Til next time, remember to love yourself first. You can’t pour from an empty cup. by @fiveoaksstudio

When cool artists think *you’re* a cool artist - that’s a special type of winning! 🙌🏼

And again, people who buy originals are angels from heaven. 👼

As a kid that never got one of those cool name keychains, the good ol’ Grateful Dead had my back! 😘❤️🎶

I’ve been a fan since before I can remember and I’m forever GRATEFUL for the artistic opportunities I’ve been given.

Much love to the @everwildfestival community and the #everwildartistvillage for providing a safe space for me to create! Thanks for everything!

Someone once told me I was a “quick nickel over a slow dime” person and you know what? It’s true, I am!

While there’s nothing quick about my nickels, reproductions make my work attainable vs. the small demographic of people who can afford originals.

Is selling 10 nickels is better than selling 1 dime? I think so!
