Bill Wurtz recently released the music video for his groundbreaking single titled “in the future”, which briefly showcased an italic, lowercase f. Aside from the obvious meaning of the letter f (standing for “future”), the stylization and the singular usage as a symbol caused excited fans to speculate that Wurtz was referencing Fizz, as the symbol is frequently used by artists in the Wurtz-adjacent genre. Wurtz has officially denied that the fancy f is a reference to anything, but some fans still “speculate” as a joke. This coincidence is also an opportunity to reflect on the fact that the Fizz genre couldn’t exist without the cultural impact of the legend, Bill Wurtz. #fizzmemes #jazzmemes #billwurtz #fizzwiki by @fizzmemes__

Based on “6:7” polyrhythms, pianist @milesmorkri posted a composition which lead to music theory educator @omnitonality8 referencing the fizz community, with many of their fans getting a kick out of this, as they share an enthusiasm for music theory with fizz. However, this comment also triggered confused responses from haters, including a gatekeeper of @jacobcollier . by @fizzmemes__
