🇬🇧 From midnight on Friday, Czech label SHAKHTA Records takes over the SzobaChill stage.

Founded in 2020, the independent label is rooted in dubstep and soundsystem culture. Their goal is to connect the Czech and Slovak scenes, support local DJs and producers, and invite artists from across Europe to their events. SHAKHTA’s identity is also shaped by the industrial and mining heritage of the region they come from, which is reflected in both the label’s name and visual identity.

The label will be represented by its three founders. WZ has released music on labels such as Innamind Recordings and DIMESHIFT, while his sets combine the 140 BPM sound with influences from hip hop, 2-step, breakbeat and techno. FIZZY is known for his deep dubstep, grime and UK bass selections, as well as his dark and deep sound, and is also active as a VJ. K0JAK explores the worlds of wobble and experimental dubstep in his productions, bringing the same approach to his DJ sets.
