@lin_manuel I got tickets to D23 for the first time ever this year because I HAD to be there to see you get honored & inducted as a Disney Legend. Your work has touched millions & means so much to me. 🥺

What better way to express that than by simply saying:

We don’t all have your lyrical gifts but we are many and we’re all here tonight to celebrate you.

This Pepa Disney bound I’m wearing? Yeah, I hoped you’d see it - I had to represent Encanto (my favorite) on the day you were being honored. You’re welcome. And, THANK YOU.

Frankly it’s a little disquieting I didn’t see more people dressed up as characters from your catalog today.

But, oh well their loss for not being in the room where it happened.

This legends ceremony & D23 is now over and it’s our time to part so we can one day, (hopefully) reunite.

Excuse the tears, I’m strong but sometimes I cry. But, I promise these are happy tears. Tears of gratitude.

Thank you for making people feel seen and giving a voice to people who were not previously represented. I can’t fully express / put it into words (that’s your job 😉😅) but Hamilton and Encanto are so cathartic to watch I think largely in part because they’re both so REAL and explore the nuances of navigating being human and the various relationships throughout our lives.

Was I a little late to the game in discovering the magic of Hamilton?! Yes - (thank you for bringing it to theaters for the 10 year anniversary.) But, now I got skin in the game and plan on staying in the game. So, I’ll just be here, lying in wait to see what else you create.
And, how far you’ll go.

P.S. I also was obsessed with Little Mermaid growing up and when we got a cat & I got to name him of course I chose Sebastian. 😅 🦀

12 years and 4 concerts later @ladygaga is still inspiring us with her creativity, originality & authenticity.

She always puts on an AMAZING concert and I remember being blown away by her talent the first time we saw her live - but this concert was special. As she was reminding us to be unapologetically ourselves and to cherish the relationships in our lives (friends, family, romantic) I got a chance to reflect on who I was then versus who I am now and the amount of self love is drastically different. With that comes certain perks - including attracting in people who you are truly aligned with. To quote SATC ~ “The most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself.” There’s always more to learn and more growth possible but for now - happy with how things have evolved & this stage of life - the quality of relationships in my life are so rich, raw and real. taken in Oracle Park by @fjoy32

Every Friday @life_west hosts a guest speaker and today the President @drronoberstein kicked things off. His opening words - “We are going to talk about energy, frequency and quantum physics a little bit this morning - how does that sound?” 😍 Have I mentioned I love it here!?

#tbt Where it all began…can’t believe this was six years ago. This was my first exposure to Network - so much has shifted in my life since 2016 and yet I still find myself craving MORE. (As many of us seekers do 😉) After sitting with it and asking myself what do I want MORE of this year? Came down to one word - authenticity. Holding back, accommodating, giving my power away, wanting others approval and caring WAY too much what other people think of me has taken a toll on my physical and emotional body. No mas. This year I just want to show up MORE, share MORE and be the most authentic version of myself. 😊💗 by @fjoy32
